Wanted to be contrary and like this but it's really really bad

This may have been one you needed to hear at the time as it was genuinely thrilling back then. Her brains may have been fried since but this still stands up OK (and isn't even her best album)

Rocks

Pure swagger. I was obsessed with this in my teens

Starts out great but flags significantly as it goes along

Fine, the singles are still great but the rest is mainly filler

Aged poorly

OK

Don't really like Changes which is the most well known track here, but there's enough monolithic riffing to make up for it

Far better than I'd expected, pre-stadium rock but still anthemic

Patchy in places but good to have some grime on here, worthy on inclusion.

One of those 90's "lets max out the CD" albums so it's overlong but damn, still destroys. Chaos AD is better but this still rules

Didn't love love this but certainly appreciated the craft

Love some of this, didn't expect to be a fan at all - Mother Russia and This Corrosion are ace

Could do without the I Shot The Sheriff cover and it goes without saying that Clapton is a POS but this slaps ngl

4.5? Always a band who I think I'll hate then get surprised how interesting they are. Particularly liked Expectations which feels like a lost Love cut but namechecks Debenhams and C&A

My favourite SY album, maybe my favourite album. Beautiful noise

Overlong but lots of invention, particularly for the era

Odd choice for the list but heyho, it's not a bad album but clearly a product of it's influences and never rises above it. I saw these guys on their first UK tour way back when and they were good fun live, but seeing a new band in a 100cap venue is a different vibe to suggesting it's one of the 1000 best albums of all time

Worth listening for the incredible title track alone, some other good songs but nothing quite matches
