Public Enemy for angsty white teens

It's fine. The best song is Rollin' because other better artists take over for a while

It's a tough one to rate. Musically, every song features masterful rhymes and a great flow, but most of the songs have very basic beats which makes songs like My Name Is stand out even more.

I think I'd give it a 4 without hesitation if it weren't for the lyrical content. You could argue a lot of it is tongue in cheek and/or self deprecating, but it's hard to listen to songs like '97 Bonnie & Clyde, where he takes his daughter with him to dispose of her mother's body, and not hear the truth behind the words. I heard this album for the first time around the age of 11. The album has not influenced me to commit any crimes so far, but I can't speak for more impressionable kids who relate more to the themes.

It's also an hour long and contains 4 skits, which I'm almost never a fan of, but surprisingly I never found myself getting bored of it.

Not the best Stevie album. It gets a lower rating because I'm comparing it to his other albums rather than every album on the list. 3.5

Good beats, interesting themes, but, most of the time, it sounds like if Chuck D couldn't rhyme. Hypocrisy is the Greatest Luxury shows he's capable of socially conscious rap that actually rhymes. 3.75

It's great, but it's long and it's hard to pick out individual songs. 4.5

I love a bit of swing. This was a lot of fun. Also, I just learned this guy wrote Sing Sing Sing.

Forgettable

It grew on me by the end tbh

I quite like the music of Rush, but I don't quite like the vocals of Rush.

This album reminds me of Tony Blair. Make of that what you will.

Why do all the songs sound like they're being played backwards? Everything is distorted and I can't tell what Thom Yorke is saying. If someone asked me what my favourite Radiohead lyric was, I'd have to say "Aaaaahhhhhhhgeeeeeebyeeeeeeaaaayyyy"
