There is a nonzero chance that from now on when someone offers me something I'll be reminded of this album. "Want one?" eugh "No thank you :("

Rated 10/10

Reading a review on this masterpiece, I wonder "why do people liken all electronica music to Daft Punk?"

Picture what you'd think a band called "Megadeth" might sound like. There. You've listened to this album already.

Milestone log 2: Day 200!

I am starting to realise just how much I love music in general... my average rating has steadily increased over time and I have found so much new music that I love as a result of this project. I have no doubts that I will go the full way. I wonder whether a new edition to the book is released within the next couple of years...

Now onto this album. Don't quite understand why I am listening to it. As much as I love electronica, this just has nothing of substance. It's fine, just... why?

It is clear that this paved the way for a new alt-pop sound, with artists like Tame Impala living the legacy MGMT never could. Only rating this a 4 because it has 3 great genre-defining songs (the rest are your typical experimental-style musical shrugs). This is, undeniably, a must-listen.

I LIKE MY JAZZ DEEP FRIED FUNKY

I listened to the first song 4 times before getting a new album generated. That doesn't sound like a lot, but considering that's longer than most albums altogether, I think this rightfully deserves a 5.

I'm convinced the people on this website just want to pretend they hate long songs. If a 10min song was split into parts floyd-style no one would bat an eye, I tell you. That being said, this was... fine. I'm sure if you're actively looking for things to hate that's all you'll find, though. This album deserves to be looked upon with fresh perspective, as hard as that may be to do.
