I'm not sure I get the hype. It's competent, but I don't feel like there is much unique. This album didn't flow as well or go as hard as 10000 days

Club Dance Pop is not my genre, but this is a masterful example with an awesome mix of hedonistic nihilism and real questions about human nature and legacy.

Almost postrock esque, lovely flowing energy without high octane

Vampire transcends, but the rest of the album is still a marvelous authentic feeling exploration of being 19 with too much autonomy and making mistakes as a top tier pop album

The album flows so well

I'm not sure why this works so well, there are many songs on here that I would never choose to listen to, but somehow in context I wouldn't have changed anything. Maybe it's just my feelings about Modest Mouse and their other objectively better songs, but I can't ding this.

Saw a pretty boy singing the blues and immediately wrote it off. Then he just played and let the best blues singers in the business sing instead. Perfect. Cannot imagine a better blues anthology.

Diverse sound, really cool metal to pretty push and pull, but it missed something for me. Maybe I would like it better if I could understand more than just the occasional mother fucker

Did Girl Talk start the main stream mashup only craze? If not he epitomized it. There is so much to love, so many moments of glee at the embodiment of oxymoron. Does it deserve top marks? Don't know, but it gives me top mark joy

I don't understand why I like Slipknot but not Killswitch Engage. The component parts a e identical, but I adore the former and the latter just repels me.
