the unmatched original

One decent hit doesnt save this from a 1/5 for me

This is full of great songs but I don't like it as an album. Eclectic but nothing to tie it together. A band but an album made by four solo artists. Another commenter wrote, the stories behind many of the individual songs are more interesting then the songs themselves, which I fully support.

Cyndi rules!

As good as Raggae gets. Highlights are Natural Mystic, Jamming and Three Little abirds with a honorable mention of Turn Your Lighta Down Low.

It has a number of strong songs, including one of my personal favourites in the Beatles catalogue: Norwegian Wood. Rubber Soul marks a turning point in their music style towards psychedelic music (Sitar!) and is a very important Album in their discography, but overall not one of their best.

Strong messages and rhymes, the immediacy of the delivery and the tight interaction of the vocalists add up. Personal highlights are Black Steel and Don't Believe The Hype.

Influential, probably worthy of this list and I'm happy I listened to it, but nothing I will be craving to put on again soon.
