What a defining album and it was their debut..
Zack has a lot on his mind and it gets communicated very clearly and angrily.
Tom Morello is also on a mission to change the way a guitar sounds. These riffs are just SO GOOD.

Great album with a lot of back and forth in the vocals, which makes it pretty fun and unique (to Run-D.M.C. at least)
I still remember watching a Quake III frag movie some time early 00's where "It's Like That" was used... Good times..

I've always had a pretty bad relationship with Dexters vocals, and there's only a single song on this album that was actually "good" (Self-esteem).. But the God damn vocals killed it for me - Even though I got Tony Hawks Pro Skater vibes...
