there's a gem in here somewhere behind all the fiddle and steel guitar
Rated 4/10
god i do not need to listen to more blues
Rated 6/10
pretty good britpop that starts strong and wanes through the middle. 3.5
Rated 10/10
amazing blend of pop/noise/slacker rock.
one of my favorite experiences with this project is when i realize that my taste in music has changed drastically since the last time i heard an album.
Rated 6/10
not exactly what i imagined from a band named "primal scream," but not bad. wouldve eaten this shit up back in HS when i was really into thievery corporation
Rated 8/10

Rated 6/10
inoffensive
Rated 8/10
this project has made me realized im a huge REM stan. the middle of the album is kind of weak though
Rated 10/10
im sure you did, ringo. im sure you did.
Rated 8/10
great folk rock. there are glaring duds, though (looking at you glad tidings)
Rated 2/10
yeah i would hate jazz too if it sounded like this
nondescript blues rock. 2.5
Rated 8/10
cool proto glam rock! fuzzy bowie.
Rated 6/10
actually a pretty tasteful r&b from dangelo. 3.5
Rated 8/10
darker in tone than the usual beach boys album. i think the highs are higher and the lows are lower than pet sounds.
Rated 8/10
much poppier and polished than their debut, and they pull it off. i prefer the jangle of the debut though
Rated 4/10
the guitar work saves this brainless mess
Rated 6/10
if "ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space" is the hypersocial let's-laugh-at-everything stoned, this one is im-trying-to-watch-futurama-alone-but-i-cant-keep-my-eyes-opened stoned. a sort of forced relaxation that's kinda pleasant but not exactly what you wanted out of the experience. 3.5
Rated 6/10
pleasant. inoffensive. not a big enough step from bossa to warrant its inclusion in this list. rather listen to her dad or elis instead
