Easy listening. Hotel California is the better album so fail to see why you would also include this. 3/5.

Didn't realise how weird an album this would be. Mother is certainly out there. Theres probably a lot of depth to the album and lyrics but I'm not jumping down the rabbit hole. 2.5/5. Raising to 3.

I've no doubt it was an important album for the time and had an impact but I just found it monotonous. 2.5/5. Raising to 3.

Grand Tour is a good song. Overall is a very typical country album. It's less than 30 mins so no complaints on length. 2.5/5. Raising to 3.

Maybe I'm sick of 80s new wave and generic rock, maybe it was the day that was in it, but I enjoyed this.

3.5/5. Raising to 4.

Anti-establishment, anti-monarchist, anti-thatcher.

This album is 40 years old. In my country condoms were barely legal and still taboo.

That's the kind of context this album needs to be listened to in. Love him or hate him Morrissey's lyricism and Marr's guitar work is top class.

4/5.

Strange one because this is definitely well produced but theres not much here IMO to warrant listening. Historical context maybe? Maybe not. Feel a 2 is harsh so bang down the middle 2.5/5. Raising to 3.

I got The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill a few days back.
This could be even better but it's possibly just on par.
Could be a shorter/tighter album and the best songs aren't originals.

4/5.

Hard to judge this fairly when I associate it with car ads.
The music is fine, cool vibe but not something I would seek out. 2.5/5. Raising to 3.
