I feel American Pie is one of the most overrated/overplayed songs ever...maybe second only to Sweet Caroline. The rest of the album is decent though...folk rock I could halfway get into. 3/5

Love the Pogues. Maybe not quite as good as later albums, but RS&tL still can scratch that Pogues itch. 4.5/5

Pretty solid. Perhaps the forgotten Britpop band? 3.5/5

Not what I expected. You can definitely tell it was mostly a vehicle for Bjork. 2/5

I know the BS are super influential in indie rock, but this is the first time that I have listened that I really enjoyed. Not the best album, but has its moments. Love that the Orbital sample comes from the first song. 3.5/5

If Frank is your jam, this is great. Just solid old timey music. 3/5

Hot Chip is always a good time. Never really doing anything different, but just making fun music. 4/5

Background jazz...really unremarkable. 2/5

WAY too long. Maybe a few interesting things but I don't think I would enjoy this concert at all. 1.5/5

Such a great vibe. Ocasek is a genius. Love this album. 4.5/5

Korn is interesting. IMO the King of Nu Metal...certainly one of the most sincere. This album is not as good as their first two, but still a worthwhile listen in general. 3.5/5

Afghan Whigs...a band I have always felt like I should like more. Maybe it is because I didn't get in to them at the time? It is ok, but nothing that seems it would have even worked with me back in the mid-90s. 3.5/5

Awesome album! I have heard reference to TGC in the past (and enjoyed a cover of one of their songs by the Japandroids) but never dug in. This is some seriously good stuff! 4.5/5

Have always felt the Doors to be quite a bit on the overrated side. This album has some interesting moments, but still nothing I would prefer. 3/5

Had hopes this would be one final hidden gem for me, but this fell way flat. 2/5

Ugh...I really don't care for Eminem. Too gimmicky, too much shock value for the sake of shock value, too much cartoony production. And it is probably way to overplayed from my college days. 2/5

Not as bad as I was expecting. More rock than Psych. 2/5

The most classic of Nick Drake's catalogue. If your mood fits this vibe there are not many records better, but I do find it isn't universal for all times. Still a great one. 4.5/5

Little Richard is always a good time. I enjoy this as well if not better than all formative Rock and Roll sounds. 3.5/5

I really don't like it, but I don't think it is bad enough for a 1. 2/5
