If this list has done nothing else, it's made me come around to drum and bass. 80 minutes later, nothing crazy, but I don't feel like my life was robbed.

Favorite track(s): Die Roboter, Spacelab, Das Model, Neonlicht, Die Mensch-Maschine

Possibly one of the most secretly influential bands of all time. Few people will ever be able to say they ushered in a new age of music. Only to be heard in the original German.

Drugs have never caused a more awesome transformation than creating the Thin White Duke.

This is what people think Lynyrd Skynyrd sounds like. Maybe it was for the best that Duane wasn't around to see them.

Nothing will ever confound me more than how the public got such good taste when Stranger Things made this popular. They probably didn't touch the B-side though.

If I had heard this album in a vacuum, I would be floored. For better or for worse, I am familiar with Nick Drake's other output and eagerly await its appearance.

Unfortunately I still think this is the most overrated Beatles project. It's not even the best album of 1967. But it is pretty freakin' good!

First time listening to the 2017 remix.

You can tell that this edition of the list was published in 2021 because it's the only possible year that this quite boring album could be chosen to represent Lana's output. But this list has made me appreciate what we have, so she escapes 2 stars.

Favorite track(s): Dig Me Out, One More Hour, The Drama You've Been Craving, Words and Guitar, Little Babies, Jenny

Thank goodness this album came along after I didn't like Jagged Little Pill so I could avoid the misogyny allegations.

Favorite track(s): You Oughta Know

I was looking forward to this one but it doesn't hold up well. The angsty lyrics and mediocre vocals don't allow Morissette to escape the flat pop songwriting and production that presumably pervaded her first two albums. She once said she was upset that she never got acceptance in the grunge scene; she could've at least tried heroin.

Favorite track(s): "Well this album Hot Shots II was really boring," I said to myself on February 14th, 2026. "Good thing I'll never have to listen to that band again."
