It’s usually considered that Queen were more of a singles band than an album band, and I’m generally minded to agree. But there’s a few exceptions, this being one of them.
Enjoyed it when it had flowing tracks and was more operatic. Would have quite liked more of that!

Empty HandsPoppy

Rated 4/10

I thought I was gonna really enjoy this from the first track, felt like Nine Inch Nails meets (shudder) Marilyn Manson. Then the rest was metalcore nonsense. I don’t like metalcore at all. Felt like an Evanescence ripoff… and I don’t like Evanescence!
Despite that, good vocal power.
Also this is waaaaay too new to be on this list

A very varied and decent album.
Obviously she’s got a great voice, but it’s just not my style; the raspy affectation on everything gets a bit too much. It’s quite nostalgic though as a child of the 2000s.
Also think it’s a bit too long. If it lost 20 mins of the weaker material, I think it would be greatly improved.

Beautiful stuff as per with Mr Drake. Some songs are really elevated by the production, some I think it takes away from the simplicity a bit.

The DoorsThe Doors

Rated 8/10

Psychedelic Blues extravaganza. Like the weirder moments on this (cover of Alabama Song is a highlight for me, The End too is surreal and gloomy fun). Couple of just ok moments too. But can’t complain too much.
