A wonderful vocal texture. Its basically a world jazz vocal album, and her voice just sounds great. Where Does It Lead kills. House of The Rising Sun is a great cover. The laughing on One More Dance is charming, and her voice soars. What a fabulous album.

This style is cool. Big boom grime and smooth english rap. Its a good combo that holds up even at a lower, more listenable volume. I Luv U is a standout track. Jus A Rascal is another banger.

More Than A Feeling is a hell of an opener. Then Peace Of Mind has the first two tracks swinging for the fences. Foreplay/Longtime is a rollicking good time though the back half feels like a thin premise held afloat by various stage tricks. Rock And Roll Band is pretty lame. I feel like that is the turning point of the album. Super influential, love that guitar sound. But I feel it plays all its cards in the first couple songs and then just recycles them

Something Against You is the track that hooks me in the beginning. Broken Face into Gigantic is pretty cool. Where Is My Mind is a total banger. I totally understand how this laid the groundwork for grunge's mainstream explosion.

Is it Fun Fun Fun On Ze Autobahn for 20+ minutes? I don't think so, but its so ground breaking its hard to believe.

Oh hell yes. Living For The City is one of the most compelling songs ever written. Higher Ground is great. The whole thing stem to stern is impeccable.

I am sick as a dog today and don't want to listen to Steven Tyler sing about fucking broads. Don't Get Mad, Get Even showcases that the only lyrics this band is capable of making are cliches.

Ok so its a Door's sound. cool a 45 minute jam session on the back. The last track is actually not the worst jam I have ever heard and I didnt mind it on the album. I also didnt think too much of the album but such is life I guess.

This is a terrible mix but the songs are fun. Sweet Dreams is a killer hit. The rest? This Is The House finally has some low end and that makes all the difference. This City Never Sleeps is an ambient track, so if you want an extended postlude this is for you. I'm not enthralled by it.

I am a little burned out on early gangsta rap so this more a slog than I would hope. the funk and excellent background track beats is awesome. Though I am pretty tired of hearing about Easy-E's dick. 8-Ball sucks. Express Yourself is awesome.

Yea primitive sounding is a good descriptor of this album. Very chunky in parts, with Meg's sparse and boom style drums. Little Room plays this to its highest effect. It also adds in some genre expiramentation with the acoustic tunes. Aluminum is basically all down beats. Cool garage beat down of an album. not a 5 for me but this would be gasoline for a more impressionable person.

Its what I imagine is just rock. not classic rock, not stoner rock, not punk rock, not fusion, not anything else. Just rock. which is kinda weird tbh.
