I will admit that his vocal approach to the formulaic modern country format is novel, but I don't think his story telling is very evocative. Summertime's Close is fine but not my thing. Fear and Friday's is a good tune. That's about all.

a really dope sample electronica album. Monster Hit really got me going. Behind Closed Eyelids felt like a workout. really really cool.

I don't know if this is satire or not. A metal song about thanks and salvation just doesn't really feel right. Man what the hell do I rate this?
Rated 6/10
Solid 70s country.

listening to this gave me a migraine.

A fun jaunt to the 90s radio.

Girl In The Mirror was the first song to grab me. It feels really derivative sounding, big club dub influence that was big in the late 2000s and early teens in pop.
Rated 4/10
yea this is fancy boy brooklyn indie rocker stuff. Erudite, obtuse, metropolitan. Their music for me is really hit or miss and this one passed me on by.
Cool chemical brothers ambient vibe.

What in heck?
Rated 10/10
Slapstick has weird hollow victory sort of sound. both triumphant and sad. Gameshark is pretty cool. Indie rock with a little industrial thrown in there. Trapped In Dillard's I could do without. Won't Drown I don't know how to feel about. Lambert as the closer I just don't know how to deal with. An awesome piece.
a sardonic thoroughly infectious british dance affair. I love it.

ahhhhhh this was fine. not really my thing.
Rated 6/10
Noisey, Indie, poorly mixed. though there is a certain garagey appeal, like on The Curtain Remembers.
Rated 8/10
Chaise Longue is a cool single. an excellent debut album that feels both new and rooted in indie's history
Rated 6/10
Sonic Reducer fucks. Not Anymore is cool, I Need Lunch is stupid and hilarious. a really solid album.

Another post punk album. Throw it on the pile

some bops, some skippables, all in a language I don't understand.
