dr john is quite a character. this album is incredibly eccentric and the amount of variation is great. i dont love it but i did really enjoy it. its a 4 for me but extra point for the album cover

not the best pink floyd album by a long shot but its good

was surprised how much i enjoyed this. the dichotomy of the fun upbeat songs on the first half vs the more melancholy songs on the second make for an interesting listen.

mostly enjoyable. the highs are really high but the lows are just as low

an iconic album from the second best pop punk band whose front-man has a phd in biological science.

not bad but incredibly prosaic

the music was a bit stale but it was entertaining for the most part. i ended up liking this a lot more than i expected i would, i even considered a 3 at one point!

this man really said "shelve your western plan cause life is hard enough when you belong here" and "leave all your hate behind you...treat me like a human being" on the same album.

i think i would like this more if she leaned into the country aspects a little more

pretty good psychedelic album

never listened to herbie before but this was awesome

the happier counterpart to echo and the bunnymen

is this the same tim buckley? this was wildly different from the last album i had from him. this one was very funky and while it was a bit over the top at times, it was enjoyable

if you played me any one of these songs i think id really enjoy it. if you played two back to back id assume this was one really long song. there is very little variation between these songs and the slow tempo makes them feel like they drag on forever.

this is probably more of a 4 but this hit just right so its getting a 5

early glam punk, no complaints here
