Just moves and doesn't ever let up. They all sound great.

Silly boys.

Surprisingly middle-of-the-road.

It's easy to dismiss Hendrix as a virtuoso guitarist, but this album proves there's so much more to him; it gets into Jimi's head and he gets into yours via stereoscopic effects and mega riffs. Almost auteur-like in its ability to take the album form and expand it beyond its limits.
Rated 10/10
Motörhead as they should be: loud, dirty and energetic.
Rated 8/10
I was expecting punk for some reason, but this is gnarly and riff-heavy. One of the few live albums that really works.

I haven't experienced anything that goes downhill this fast since I put a bowling ball on a helter skelter. The first track is great, the rest just sucks more and more.

My dad had this! I love that each Dylan album reveals another side to Bob - this one is giggly and witty.
Rated 10/10
Utterly crude, hilariously so, in places, but also such a weird soundscape and unmistakably Kanye. I know he's a bit of a dick now, but this is just so fucking out-there and ballsy that it's hard not to be impressed.

Basically 10 different versions of "Do It Again." Should have been called "Do It Again and Again and Again and Again and Again and Again and Again and Again and Again and Again."

Holy shit. How is this album 55 years old. How.
I really liked this, but it also made me realise why I've never fully embraced Talking Heads: I just don't like David Byrne's voice. I feel bad about it, but it just grates with me. Sorry, David.
Definitely my favourite Kinks album, it has a mood and a theme and just goes for it in a way that The Beatles never could.
Rated 4/10
This felt like half an album. Just kind of ended abruptly, which seems weird for indulgent prog-rock.

Great album art! Pretty good album!

I guess he no longer lives in a van.

At the time, I dismissed these guys as Cast for the 21st century, but there is something interesting and fun and experimental going on here, even if it is just a little bit too indebted to classic psych-rock. They're Space for the 21st century.

I had a vague awareness of these guys from the "Series 7: The Contenders" soundtrack, but this is totally the kind of stuff I would have loved at the time. Why is Washington DC so interesting musically?
Rated 8/10
Absolutely not what I was expecting, in the most pleasant way possible.

Bilge.
