didn’t finish this. started out okay but good god it went downhill fast

the concept behind this album is a little strange ngl. the instrumentation is fantastic, but i don’t care for the frenchman whispering in my ear

there’s just something specific about this flavor of 60s pop that i find endlessly endearing. great album with little fluff

Never been a huge fan of the police outside of their hits, who knew they had so many quirky songs? Still a fun listen overall

this did not change my opinion on ska

some of my favorite beastie boys songs are on this album, and i can see why it’s a regarded as a seminal piece of rap history.

that said it does show its age at times, and not always in an endearing manner.

first half was better than the second.

not their best work, but a really good one. this is where their discography starts to jump around in terms of quality.

really enjoyed a couple of songs on this. but there was a good chunk i was just “okay” on. overall enjoyed the experimental/alt sound

can’t believe i’ve never heard this. phenomenal body of work

355 records in my collection and i still haven’t bought the one that damn near everyone owns.
