It's fine. the song Connected was a bit of a bop back in the day, but the rest of the album kind of just sounds the same. It's jaunty. It's fine.

Can't go wrong with a raspy voice, I guess? But I just listened to it and I've pretty much forgotten it.
Rated 4/10
It's quite bad. It's not as bad as the other album which is nakedly country music, so this one gets 2 stars

Soothing. I liked it. It's like a dollar store Portishead
OK, I feel awful giving this a bad score, because I'm sure it's all my fault. The thing he's doing with his throat sounds like the sound you make when you're pretending to speak underwater. I've been to France plenty of times, I'm aware there is a guttural aspect to the language, but for some reason, this guy bugs me.
Other than that, it's pop music, which in this case is fine, I guess? But I'm not sure *why* this album must be listened to before death.
So overall, I'm not sure it's bad, but I hated it and it was hard for me to listen to half an hour of guttural throat noises, so 2 stars it is.

This is really quite good. I like REM's later stuff, but I haven't heard this one in decades and I must say that I think It holds up way better than I expected, so this is a nice surprise. In a world where there are half stars, this is probably a 3 pushing 3.5. In a world *without* half stars, where this is leaps and bounds better than the albums I've ranked as 3 stars in the last week or 2, this is a 4.

Coldplay gets an unfair rap because they kind of got stuck in a bit of a rut, but at their peak - and this album is their peak - they were an unstoppable force. Banger after banger after banger, this album doesn't have a weak moment. Is it going back in my normal rotation? No. But will I listen the shit out of any of these songs should they start playing somewhere? You're goddamn right I will.
It's like listening to Back to the Future.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled...was convincing boomers that The Rolling Stones weren't dog shit.

Outstanding. I thought Amerikkka's Most Wanted sounded a bit anachronistic; I said it sounded like a time capsule and I called it "almost quaint."
Ain't nothin' quaint about this The Predator.
This album hits HARD after nearly 34 years. Look, Hip Hop, by design, is always going to be a time capsule of the time and culture in which it was created. But the flow and the subject matter is every bit as relevant and cohesive as the day it was released.

His voice is awful...yet somehow compelling.

MUCH better than I feared it would be. That said, I'm starting to resent this project for not having half stars. this is a 3.5 for me.
Sigh. It was fine.

Surprisingly decent.

It's extremely fucking Morrissey.

I wish I liked it more.

It’s fine. I hate not having half stars. It just means pretty crappy and pretty good get the same goddamn rating.
Rated 10/10
Surprisingly excellent. I'd somehow never heard of them, but this is as big of a surprise as the Big Black album. I loved it.
Rated 6/10
Weird as fuck, man. Honestly, I kind of rate it. In a world where we have half stars, this is probably dead on a 3. It's still a 3 in a world without half stars, but it feels a bit unfair because it's better than most the shit I'm rating 3 stars.

Surprisingly awesome. I don't get jazz - at all - but this had some classical vibes, some jazzy bits, and I suppose a bit of tango as well, since that's in the name. 3.5 stars, would totally listen again.
