Exactly what you expect. Enjoyed it as much as I ever enjoy elvis. Which is not enough to choose to listen to it.

The hip hop albums on the list continue to be good. But kind of surprised how challenging this album is from a production point of view. It’s noisy, harsh in parts, a bit unusual to the usual polished/smooth production of the 90s hip hop albums.

Enjoyed this, maybe becoming a bit jaded because it probably would have gotten a 4 stars earlier in this process but I probably won’t come back to it again which is how I’m dividing the 3 to 4s.

1 hour 15! Why!

If I was going to pick one Red Hot chili peppers album to try to listen to it would have been this one. But given how much I hated californication when that came up a couple of months ago I didn’t have high hopes. I was pleased surprised though. Chad, flea and John get to shine on this one and even Anthony is at his least unbearable (still unbearable though).

I think there’s probably a 40 minute album in here that would get 4 stars from me. But as it is it’s a generous 3 stars.

Feels like an easy 5 stars!

I enjoyed listening to this but there it was just missing those moments that make it really stand out.

Two QOTSA albums on this list. I would have replaced this with songs for the deaf. But I still enjoy this for the most part.

Not my most listened to Bjork album, which would be homogenic (Somehow not on this list despite their being 4 Bjork albums). But still enjoyable.

This is completely unhinged. It’s more of a cultural artefact than an album. So I agree it should be on the list, but I can’t say I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this. More than I thought I would because the track I’ve been most exposed to on the radio 101 FM is easily the worst song on the album. Loses a bit of steam later on but the start is strong enough to carry it.

Whenever I’ve listened to u2 I’ve always thought it’s really much better than I expected. But then when I finish I can’t remember any of it and have no urge to listen to it again. This seems like a good u2 album. But still don’t want to listen to it again.

It’s better than the iron maiden album I was assigned YESTERDAY, but still not my thing. I think if I hadn’t had two in a row I would give this 3 stars. It feels like the definitive iron maiden album.

Weirdly chilled out. I just can’t get into it though. Just feels so silly.

This was getting 3 stars until the last two songs. There’s some great stuff on here. But you can really feel that no one is raining him in at all on this one.

Kinda fun if you ignore the awful crowd banter.

So good. Starts off strong and seems to get better and better as it goes on.

I enjoyed this more than I thought. But it went on just a bit too long and the balance shifted to be too traditional in the parts of the album.

Why?

This sounds like there’s three songs playing at all times and they never line up. Even the famous single isn’t great other than the opening riff.
