Rated 8/10

I think the hype surrounding Metallica is a bit overblown. Thrash metal is a genre I don’t really get into. But the ballads, though quite simple, are very beautiful. They’re like a bourbon whiskey—sweet, vanilla-like, pleasant, and nice every now and then. But they don’t leave a lasting impression. I won’t be listening to the whole album again anytime soon, but I’ll happily listen to individual tracks. 4/5

I didn't really get into Aerosmith until the '90s. Apart from "Walk This Way," I didn't know any of the songs on the album. And that's totally fine. I won't be listening to the album again anytime soon. 3/5

I was able to listen to this album. It didn't particularly appeal to me or leave a lasting impression. I forgot about it right away. 3/5

Phew, that was exhausting. I didn't really hear anything new there either. It might have been great back in the day. But I don't think I need to jump on every bandwagon. I probably won't listen to that album again. It just got on my nerves too much. 2/5

Captain Beefheart's second album in this project. I was very skeptical, since I found *Trout Mask Replica* pretty confusing. In contrast, I was able to listen to this album. However, I won't be listening to it again anytime soon. I don't understand this music, and I don't like it. 3/5

I was familiar with the band’s name, the story behind it, and a few of their songs. However, I had assumed they played a slightly different style. I’m not really into southern rock, and I feel the same way about this album. The exception is the song “Free Bird.” But that’s not enough to make me want to listen to this album again. 3/5

I actually really like the genres and styles this album is categorized under. That’s why I was curious to see what I’d hear. Maybe there’s a reason I’ve never heard of this band before. I found the whole thing pretty boring, though. I probably won’t actively listen to it again. 3/5

My streaming service doesn't have this album. I listened to another album by the band from that era. I didn't particularly like it. On the other hand, I have fond memories of the band's name. So it's hard to rate an album. 3/5

Actually, this is the forth The Who album I’ve listened to as part of this project. My relationship with the band has been a bit complicated. I was always more of a rocker than a mod. At some point, I found a way into their music and am enthusiastic about some of their stuff. Surprisingly to me, that doesn’t apply to this album. Perhaps the album is conceptual in its structure and music. But just like in real life, concepts can be a failure. And that seems to be the case here. I probably won’t listen to this album again. 2/5

I usually don't like live recordings. There are a few exceptions. This isn't one of them. The music was pretty good and worth listening to again. The recording quality is mediocre. If I'd been at the concert, it might have been great. As it was, it was just average and a bit too long. 3/5

I’d heard the band name Franz Ferdinand before and had fond memories of it. I couldn’t remember anything specific, though. I found the story behind the choice of the band name unusual and interesting, but I would have guessed there was a German or Austrian band behind it. The music wasn’t what I expected. I was expecting German avant-garde, along the lines of Einstürzende Neubauten or something similar. I really liked the music. It’s not as catchy and rousing as I’d hoped. But I’d like to explore the band a bit more. 4/5

I love the Coen brothers' films, including O' Brother, Where Art Thou? This film featured a few songs that made me rethink my attitude toward country music. The first track on this album was so off-putting that I actually wanted to turn it off right away. Then I listened to a few more tracks and decided to give the album a chance, remembering the film I mentioned. It was so awful that I gave up less than halfway through. I couldn't stand it. I'd rather listen to a scrap press or a circular saw. 1/5

At first, I thought this was just more uninteresting 80s synth pop. But the band name rang a bell. The music sounds a bit like The Cure and Sisters of Mercy, only less interesting. The exception is the track Elegia, of which there is also supposed to be a 17' version. I quite enjoyed listening to this album, but I won't be doing so again anytime soon. 3/5

Boring pop that sounds like it came straight out of the 90s. I had no idea that 30 years later, there would still be a demand for it. 2/5

I would have liked to dismiss the album quickly as completely boring. In the end, however, there were three tracks on it that I have cherished since my youth. It's nice to have been reminded of them again. I'll gladly listen to those tracks again, but probably not the album. 3/5

Phew, that was hardcore. Too hard for me, I'm too weak for that. Although it's only a little over 20 minutes long, I couldn't listen to the whole album. 2/5
