i've seen t shirts of this album, never actually heard it
decent opener
very groovy (this is exactly what stone gossard would listen to)
very good, very pleasant

Rated 8/10

A solid 70's rocker. While it didn't blow my mind, I did find myself enjoying it quite a bit more than I anticipated as the album went on. I dig, I dig.

Rated 4/10

That was some very... unseasoned rock music. Maybe just a step above Rod Stewart. It's not bad at all, but I'm struggling to even pick a standout track because it all passed me by!

Rated 6/10

Several of the songs on this album I think I've heard on the radio before (makes sense for classic rock songs). The music is bluesy and I get some hair metal but mostly Led Zeppelin vibes from it (no wonder, it being on Zeppelin's record label). "Ready For Love" was one of those familiar-sounding songs, and I loved the piano solo/parts in it. Everything else on the album was pretty okay too, not too meandering and I could tell the musicianship was good.

Listened before? No

Familiar with the artist? Yes

Thoughts:
- Have heard a couple of these songs on the radio but wouldn't have been able to tell you who they were...
- Song/artist/album name being the same is always funny to me. I think Bad Company is easily the best song on here though.

Favorite track(s): Bad Company 😎

Interesante. Me encanta la portada. Me he guardado Seagull que me parece preciosa y Rock Steady.

More 70s English bands..... they even have "bad" right in the name!

This sounds more "oldies" mixed with the band 'Europe' than "70s", though, which is good. I rate them: middling company.

Rated 4/10

The rockiest rock album you'll probably e'er hear, & unfortunately that's a bad thing. Sounding like a bored & perfunctory Allman Brothers, Bad Co.'s a supergroup featuring no superstars, which ain't so super to me. But the unknowns of the rock world - well, unknown to moi - deserve to be heard, no doubt. It just so happens that I couldn't care less what Rodgers, Ralphs, Burrell, & Kirke have got to say. 'Finding out along the way / What it takes to keep love living / You should know how it feels, my friend.' Save 'The Way I Choose,' a decent, heartfelt ballad, their debut is actually worse than what I've heard from Deep Purple. Maybe it's Burrell's prog sentiments, or perhaps it’s their shitty Southern USA imitations. Prob both - I can do w/o.

Totally unremarkable, not one song worth recognizing. Mercifully short.

Rated 6/10

Bit generic at times, but pretty nice.

I saw another review on here that described this as "iconically bland" and that seems about right.

Hugely talented ex-members of Free, Mott The Hoople, and King Crimson join together to play the sort of basic, pub rock stuff that sits firmly in the middle of the road.

It's like it was designed 50 years ago for Nostalgic middle aged men.

On that level it's fun and if you put it on at a backyard party full of 60 year olds keen to recapture their youth and celebrate Dave's retirement, it'd go off like a frog in a sock.

If this isn’t the definition of Dad Rock, then I don’t know what is.

Rated 6/10

fine nothing particularly interesting

Rated 4/10

Not bad per se, but generic and boring as hell...
"Ready For Love" is a good song. Other than that, no reason for me to revisit.

Definition of generic

Paul Rodgers - incredible singer, but maybe only an ok songwriter.

Rated 6/10

Dad rock. Nothing really exciting happens.
