Oh yeah, Sheryl Crow. I didn't expect to see her in this project. But why not? Back then, her album was really popular among my friends. I think we even had it in our collection. "All I Wanna Do" played over and over again. Her voice and the music are cool. It was nice to hear that again, even if it won't happen very often. 3/5

Since I didn't really like Peter Gabriel's debut album, I think this one is great. I have special memories associated with the song "Sledgehammer." That was the song that was rewritten and performed by a colleagues from the institute band to celebrate graduation of another colleague. The singer of that band and I were friends, and he told me how incredibly difficult the song and the vocal part were. So I tried it myself—and failed miserably. A great album that I should listen to more often. 5/5

Here and there, the album had some very interesting tracks, though there were also a few annoying ones. Overall, my relationship with PJ Harvey’s music remains complicated. Sometimes I really like it, and sometimes it annoys me. And that’s how it is with this album, too. 3/5

Actually, I really love The Police’s music. Looking back, they brought a breath of fresh air to the music scene of my time. My brother owned this album back then. And since we shared a room, I must have heard it quite often. But I couldn’t really remember it that well anymore. I have to say, I was looking forward to the album, but I was pretty disappointed. Halfway through the album, I was on the verge of stopping. What was on there was downright annoying. Luckily, I stuck with it and listened to the album all the way through. I liked the second half much better. Still, I won’t be listening to this album in its entirety again anytime soon. It was the band’s last album. Maybe that’s for the best. 3/5

Yet another variation on rhythmically spoken lyrics—something new to me, but something that doesn't interest me. Furthermore, hip-hop, in whatever form, is not music. 1/5
Over two years ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the band’s first album in this project. At the time, I wondered if I should change my negative opinion of the band. Now that I’ve listened to this album, I know I was right. The album was pretty boring. “Come On Eileen” has a certain appeal for me for nostalgic reasons. But that appeal only lasts until the first chorus—then I’ve had enough. I won’t be listening to that again. 2/5

I still have “Breaking the Law” in some playlist or another and listen to it every now and then. I don’t find the song particularly interesting, though—but it’s still more interesting than the rest of the album. Heavy metal isn’t my favorite genre anyway, and this album isn’t going to change my mind about that. You can give it a listen, but you don’t have to. 3/5

Pretty exhausting for early in the morning. I like grunge and alternative rock. But this album didn't win me over at all. It was raw and gritty, but not much else besides that. "Good Enough" was good enough. The rest was pretty mind-numbing. 2/5
It's always the same problem with live recordings: the music itself is great, but it would be better if you were actually there. On top of that, the recording sounds pretty flat. It comes across as a bit of a letdown. 3/5

Fleetwood Mac had a good reputation among my peers when I was a teenager. *Rumors*, which I will listening to as this project will come to an end, was a must-have in my friends’ music collections—it was played over and over again. So now, *Tusk*. I found it boring. It reminded me too much of hippie music, which was also pretty unimaginative for the most part. I won’t be listening to that again. 2/5

This is the second Tim Buckley album I've listened to as part of this project. So I have the dubious pleasure of getting one more of his albums among the remaining 86. I don't like Buckley's voice. That whiny, whimpering tone really gets on my nerves. Besides that, I didn't hear anything particularly noteworthy on the album. 2/5

This is the music my parents used to listen to. It makes me feel nostalgic for a pristine America during its golden age of new beginnings. I like America—its optimism and, at times, its boastful, unfounded arrogance. Buddy Holly’s music embodies that, too. Reality was a bit different in some ways, but the feeling remains. It was nice to hear the music again. But I won’t be doing that regularly. I’m not that nostalgic for the past. 3/5

A very pop-oriented album. I sometimes find this genre a bit boring. That's the case here, too. A few tracks on this rather long album are great, but overall, the music is uninteresting and irrelevant. 3/5

I was introduced to the band by my younger brother. I always found the band’s “evil” attitude a bit contrived. So I gave their music a thorough listen. But since then, I’ve heard a few of their songs that I really liked. This album, too, can be a lot of fun if you’re in the right mood. Maybe I’ll explore Iron Maiden even more. 4/5

Not as bad as I expected. I do enjoy that American road rock sound every now and then. For an album that’s over 90 minutes long, there wasn’t enough variety to keep me hooked. But maybe I’ll even give it another listen. 3/5

Well, look at that—yet another genre I can do without. Grime. I hadn't heard of it before. If this album is representative of the genre, I have no desire to figure out the differences between grime, rap, and hip-hop. At least one thing is certain: none of this is music. That said, I finished today's "Album of the Day" very quickly—and that's the best thing about it. 1/5

Syd Barrett was a genius, and his story is tragic. What might the great band Pink Floyd have achieved if Syd had been able to stick with them? On the other hand, that tragedy also influenced the band’s work. It’s all very speculative. In any case, I was looking forward to the album. You can hear echoes of the early Pink Floyd in some places. Unfortunately, the album ends up being a bit disappointing. Even the contributions from Waters and Gilmour to the album couldn’t change that. 3/5

I really liked the album. Maybe not every track or the whole thing, but definitely enough that I'd be happy to listen to it again. 4/5

Not as bad as I feared. But if I wanted to go raving, I know of much and much better music. Overall, the album was mildly boring—and it went on for over an hour. I don't need to listen to that again. 3/5
