Buck Owens was one of the biggest names in country at the time, also one of the best. He has a really unique and fitting voice and the Buckaroos are one of the best country backing bands. I don't really enjoy this album as much as other works of his though. The instrumental track and songs not sung by him kind of detract from my experience. It doesn't really have the hit songs of some other albums of his either.

Not really my type of album. I really like Psychedelic Rock, but I find a lot of the more pop oriented Psychedelia from later on very tiresome to listen to. Takes the droneyness from Psych and combines it with the annoyingness of Pop. It starts off alright but it just doesn't really shift up or down in gear and just drags. I can see it being enjoyable for others, I find it tiresome and unpleasing on the ears.

Fun album, it's like a blend of the Pogues and Sonic Youth. It brings a pretty unique sound with it. Some good songs on here, normal songs with some weirder sounds and feedback loops combined in here. There's a hint of Country music in there too. Unique blend of styles for sure, kind of hard to define itself.

Just a great all round album. Beautiful arrangements and I've always enjoyed the vocals on here. It really grabs you with the opening track and keeps it going from there. Perhaps I find the first side more interesting than the second, but it doesn't deter from enjoying the album. One of the best Psychedelic Folk Pop Rock esque albums of tha era, an era filled with those types of records no less.

I can see why this is so well liked. Running up that Hill is one of the greatest 80's songs and Cloudbusting isn't far behind. I found the rest of the album to be of less quality than those songs, but it was enjoyable enough nonetheless. It's a very weird album at times, but I guess that is to be expected with a Kate Bush album.

I unironically enjoy Limp Bizkit and all the goofy ass rage-y hit songs they make. This one has a lot of the classic Limp Bizkit tracks on it, such as Rollin, My Generation and My Way. I wish this album ended at the 40 minute mark though. Limp Bizkit is not a great albums band and the album progressively gets shittier and less fun the more you get into it. This didn't to be 75 minutes long, or have a remix of a track already featured earlier in the album, or that dumbass 10 minute outro laughing track.

Quite a gamble to start your discography off with a live album. This one is really iconic and influential, sounds like Punk music a decade before Punk. It feels like a bit of an unfocused mess though. The 60's extended Psychadelia fueled jams are in full effect here. Sometimes you're just listening to a wall of noise and feedback and guitar crunches. Still cool, but I prefer their tighter studio work.

The quintessential Prog album by the quintessential Prog Rock band. Yes really got into their stride here. Their previous albums were good for sure, but this one reaches far above that. It has the variety you'd expect and long for in Prog. From classic rock staple Roundabout, right into a classicaly inspired piece. The album is also just really well made and produced. I'll never get tired of the Bass on Yes albums.

I generally enjoy a lot of Beastie Boys work, this one just didn't really hit for me this time around. It starts off good with the first few tracks that really get the energy pumping. I do like how Rock-filled this one was compared to earlier work. It does kind of lose focus as it goes on, the songs just go by without really being memorable, the Shambala and Buddha songs aside.

This might be even better than his father's work. Feels like the groove is even more dance-able while the Political statements are more upfront as well. Very energetic and upbeat, it really is just more of a great genre. Can’t wait to see him live in a few weeks.

One of the best Country singers from this era, good to see he's represented on this list. I'm A Lonesome Fugitive isn't the first album I'd pick, but it does come from his best era. It's a really traditional Country album with exactly 6 songs a side, working around to a pretty short total album length, as was often the case for the Capitol albums of this era. It's a nice collection of songs and Merle Haggard is great at telling stories and hardship in his work. Just a simple, yet lovely Country album.

It sounds a lot like Hüsker Dü, and having more Hüsker Dü to listen to is always nice. It does sounds more modern, especially with the cleaner production, but it still is very much a Bob Mould production. Really enjoyed the songs, energetic and brash but still with some pop song semblence to them. I can't really find fault with this.

It's pretty good, I really liked the Fela Kuti sample he threw in there especially. It's a hitless but groovy album that sure has it's place and time. Not really one that sticks out though. If the samples aren't interesting I don't really find the music to be there on this album. A large part of this album just turns to be really forgettable, not really what I was used to with the other Fatboy Slim album on here.

Better than I expected. Pretty noisy form of Britpop. I don’t know if I will really listen to it again but I enjoyed my time enough. I didn’t really enjoy the quiet parts here, they felt like they dragged on a bit long and couldn’t really keep me interested. The loud parts and songs were almost shoegaze like and were quite a bit better, really liked those. Lands somewhere in the middle.

Always heard about Aphex Twin, yet I never heard an album or even a song of his. This was an enjoyable enough album, unfortunately fitting in some of the most uninteresting genres to me. I don’t really care for ambient or a lot of softer types of Techno. Aphex Twin made some incredible pieces here, but the category they’re in just doesn’t let me reallt appreciate them to the fullest. Great effort by a good artist in a boring music type.

My last Marvin Gaye album and my favorite one of them all. I really like how this album can sound really smooth yet the lyrics are really angry. It’s an interesting juxtaposition and makes for a good starting point for an album. The music is brilliant enough to back the concept up, a flowing double album that doesn’t really have any stand out tracks but just flows into one another. Really smooth and well produced.

This one kind of fell in and out of actively listening to it for me. It was a pretty decent album. I didn't remember much from the other Beta Band album outside of being bored by it and finding the inclusion baffling. This still had some boring moments, but equally fun and good parts to make up for it. Can I recall any song 5 minutes after listening to it? No, but I can't really dislike it either.

It's a fine album, if a bit boring. Hotel California is a boomer staple but a pretty good song still. The 2 songs after that are pretty good too and after that it gets a bit boring. It's just kind of overplayed AOR stuff, hard to really hate on but not the type of music I'd pick out myself. Insert the dude quote here.

Their first album, which I've listened to a lot more since getting it in the first week of this generator, has since become one of my favorite Ska albums to listen to. This one has it's influence pulled from more sources, but that doesn't necessarily make it a better album. It lacks the focus of the first one and some of the later songs on here sound a bit boring. That said, it's still a good album. The upbeat energy is there and some of the pulls from Lounge music and Reggae work well with their existing sound. The J.B. song is a great example of a song aided by the extra blend of styles.

I was kind of put off by Marianne's voice at first. Ik sounded a lot rougher than her famous earlier hit. Reading the backstory explains it however. This has some great songs though, Working Class Hero was one of my favorite John Lennon songs and this cover does it justice. New wave production here is great, the slow pounding drums really bring forth the intensity on some tracks here. Still don't really know whether I like it or am medium on it.
