Funny how many bands that aren't the Sex Pistols get labelled as 'proto punk' - protecting Malcolm McLaren's image I reckon.

So much has been said about this. Obviously the praise is deserved and it's influence undoubteable. But you could also make an argument that 'A Day in the Life' is the only truly great song on here.

If I'm putting a Beatles album on, it's almost never this one.

Too many peej but she deserves it. I enjoy late period peej heaps more but ya know, 92 she was mad about not getting the vocals gig for Slint. Good stuff.
