Decent. But why is it here? Why don't you put Bon Iver?? Anything from the last 10-20 years that's better than this? I'd like a word Mr. Dimery

People complaining that this is too new to be on the list...but guaranteed in 10 years time it will be on the next edition. Look deeper into the album. Why is it on here? She sings in 13 languages....that in itself makes it worthy to be here.

Sweetness is such a millennial banger my lord is this just the biggest throwback. The next edition of this book should feature at least one Jimmy record.

I'm surprised that Slowdive isn't even in the original list. This record, or their self titled, should be in there at least. Incredible record.

Most people will probably listen to this without looking deeper into the actual meaning of the entire album and give it a low rating. It comes with themes of confidence, generational trauma, self-doubt, and social anxiety. Some of the songs are growers and others you like right away. The Brat remix album is also incredible. I suggest you check that out if you dig this. Those grammy wins are 100% deserved.

I submitted this album, so I should probably have a mini book typed up on why I like it, right???

I’ll try and do a short version.

The intro to this record is incredible. The intro guitar riff gets me every time. And then those drums, that drum beat, even throughout the song, is incredible. George’s scream vocals, wow, WOW. Then when Dallas comes in???? Fuck me up man. GANG VOCALS???!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS.

*ahem* sorry, got excited.

But that’s basically how I feel about this entire record. The guitar riffs throughout are incredible. The drums are amazing. Even some of the baselines are incredible. George and Dallas going back and forth from screaming to singing, and the mix. The overall soundscape of this record is just so neat to me. No other band really sounds like this. If they do then let me know lol.

And then that final song, Happiness By The Kilowatt???? *chefs kiss* even when Dallas plays it solo under City & Colour it’s an unbelievable song.

This reminds me of the weirder parts from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, and they focused on expanding the very weird parts. I would love to experience this live on some shrooms tbh
