An album for the sad bois. "The Golden Age" has been a favorite song of mine for a while now and has been the soundtrack to many sad or melancholy moments in my life.

wow.... this is really an album I was looking forward to because so many tastemakers and critics have this thing on their walls.

it's.....fine at best and annoying at worst.

this is definitely one of those albums people have collectively pretended is good to appear unique.

Love to see that this album is slowly gaining points now that we're 2 or 3 years removed from this site being overrun with Brit Wankers during COVID who heaped praise on derivative dogshit like Blur and boring Proto-EDM like Kraftwerk while shitting on this because the frontman is a bit of a douche.

I wont sit here and say it's a 5, or even LB's best album, but it had broad appeal at the height of nu-metal music and for that it has value.

Good album I'd never heard of before. Unfortunately the final few tracks brought it down from a potential 4 to a 3

This is who did Spinning Wheel? No shit? I used to play that song in Middle School "Jazz" band.

Also, this is a good choice for the list. It won album of the year in 1970 and has seemingly been completely forgotten about in music discourse.

The Album is bad, but the opening track is the intro song to Vikings, so i'll give it a pass.

time for a new rewatch!
