Turns out Van Halen isn't just one guy, they're a band? I imagine this won't be the last time this'll happen...

Waiter! Waiter! More prog rock please!

Fun little album, but I don't remember a single thing from it

I think the problem with these country albums (for me at least) is that they'd be much more bearable if the guys just stopped singing

My 4th rap album in the past week, and the 3rd one that's apparently the best rap album of all time. I get that it's good, but if you keep saying that every album's the best then it kinda loses its meaning.
Rated 8/10
Nice to listen to, but once again it's not something I'd be desperate to come back to. It might just be my bias for older albums showing
Rated 6/10
It really says something about an album when you can't tell which songs are the singles, and I don't mean that in a good way. Still though, it wasn't that bad and I enjoyed the guitar bits

I only knew the big New Order hit before this, so this was a pleasant surprise

Another album where I was expecting to love it, but it just turns out ok. Light My Fire was definitely a highlight though.

Dunno what to think about this. There's definitely some bangers on here, but I'm also sick of hearing them on the radio
Rated 8/10
Typical, you go weeks without getting a rap album and then it generates 3 in a row. Not complaining though, this was a good album
Rated 8/10
Some very good stuff in here, I really wanted to give it a 5 but I just can't see myself listening to it again
Rated 6/10
If you told me this was one of the most average hip hop albums of all time I'd believe you. Maybe I'm just too white to understand it... 😔

Hey, it's that one song from Time and a Word. Obviously I prefer the Yes version but it's fun to see where it came from. I usually dread listening to anything slightly country-related but this was really good

Wasn't really interested at the start, but it just clicked for me by the end. Really enjoyed it on my second listen.
Rated 6/10
Incredibly inoffensive. I would've given it a 2, but that implies I was offended
Rated 6/10
A classic example of liking one song while the rest are just completely ok

Apparently Jon Anderson was the godfather of the lead singer of this group, I'd like to know the story behind that. Doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things, it was kind of a fun album but I won't be revisiting it
Listened to probably the first 3 songs and then started skipping through them. It's quite impressive that, despite all the songs that hadn't been written yet in the 50s, these guys managed to make the same one 59 times.

Never listened to a full Oasis album before (I'm more of a Blur girl (Blurl?)) but this was good, it's nice when the non-singles are good songs as well
