Not even the best Common album I've heard. Y'all are acting like it's some great achievement of his when it's really quite mediocre.

Yeah I heard these guys play back in '87. Except they were my teenage neighbors playing in a garage wearing cheap leather jackets and chains and playing everything off key and off beat. And they had a pentangle painted on the floor.

Holy crap he just could not hit the right note. The sex lyrics are super cringy, the keyboard is overkill, and this adds nothing to the world of music whatsoever. And don't try arguing that it has some value because it spawned an iconic song. The rest of the album definitely DOES NOT make up for it.

I don't know what y'all are talking about because this album slaps. From the opening track and especially in 'Pearl's Girl' I was lovin the 90s club vibes. It wasn't just generic techno club music. It was actual creative Electronica. And one version of this album even has 'Born Slippy', which kinda makes up for everything.

This is like sad meditation music. It's meant to be listened to while thinking, but then I'm focused most on everything OTHER THAN the music. It's not even music to get you lost in your own mind. It's more like 'I need something to listen to while studying'. Doesn't even apply to me anymore.

I kinda like it but then again I'm lame so don't listen to me 🤔

Someone called this wannabe Black Sabbath and now that's all I can hear which honestly makes the listening experience less enjoyable

This was weird but solid. I could have done without 'The Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch', but most of the rest was pretty different than what I normally hear from experimental artists, and in a good way. There was a lot of variation between the songs, which held my interest, and I would not mind listening to this again.
