You know your dad’s friend that owns at least 3 motorcycles and has vintage 60s posters all over the walls, has fuzzy dice in their 1970s Impala, has 12 neon light-up clocks on their wall, one for each hour of the day, hosts the town super bowl party every year, and always has nothing but beer in the fridge? This is the type of music he listens to. I mean, it’s not bad, but I don’t see myself ever listening to this again.

Can an avalanche fall on Robert Dimery’s head already?

But seriously, this album was so repetitive. The only good example ever of repetition in music is the limp bizkit song where fred goes “keep rollin rollin rollin rollin” That’s good. Avalanche bad.

Edit: its better now

Usually when i see “won the mercury prize” i know that I'm going to be in for a very boring album. That was not the case with this one. This one was very fun to listen to and i would go as far as saying that this is my second favorite album of the 2010s behind To Pimp A Butterfly. I am definitely going to check out some of his other work.

Rated 8/10

5 stars but im going to steal one of them and use it to hire the band a new mixer because I can’t hear a word she is saying

I was going to say that the white stripes sound like a black sabbath cover band until i realized that ive seen a black sabbath cover band live and the singer sounded exactly like Jack White.

And cmon, if you asked me when i thought this album was released, i would’ve said 1975 at the latest.

Second album from this man I’ve had to listen to. 929 albums to go.

The last one I got was American IV. 928 albums to go!

I gave that a two, it might’ve been too looOOoow! 927 albums to go.

But At Folsom Prison shall get more than a four. 926 albums to go!

Not only did this album invent the word “stan”, but it also made people misspell Christopher Reeves’ name.

To showcase the absurdness of this album, here are different lines from just one song, “I’m Back”

“I don't give a f*ck if this chick was my own mother, I'd still f*ck her with no rubber and c*m inside her and have a son and a new brother at the same time and just say that it ain't mine”

“I take seven {kids} from {Columbine}, stand 'em all in line. Add an AK-47, a revolver, a .9, a MAC-11 and it oughta solve the problem of mine, and that's a whole school of bullies sh*t up all at one time”

“I used to be my mommy's little angel at twelve. Thirteen, I was puttin' shells in a gauge on a shelf. I used to get punked and bullied on my block 'til I c*t a kitten's head off and stuck it in this kid's mailbox”

Man this album is a parade of horribles put together into a surprisingly great piece of music.
