Three tracks off the bat that ch aged pip music for 20 years and made Beyoncé a MEGA star for the next 20+ years….followed by 15 forgettable tracks.
I almost could have gone 4 but oof “Emotion” is rough!

You know what cosmos factory was? A damn hit machine powered by that bicycle. Hit Damn

Sockhop for Punks! Like Elvis Costello but it’s nowhere near his best and not one I’d prob go back to.
Rated 6/10
Sure it’s fun but it’s also dumb. The beats are good but not touching De La or Tribe.

Maggie!! Such a fun and solid soul/blues rock album. Is it up there on the pantheon, probably not - but love this album. Just every single track is so good and well done- and that rhaspy voice fits unlike anything else.
Rated 6/10
Fine indie rock but literally nothing special and def not something i needed to hear before i died.
Rated 4/10
I think im just not meant for WuTang's sound. I was in a horrible mood for this listen and there were moments but very very few.
Rated 6/10
i really want to love this more than i do - and i really like it - it's so different than anything else - so revolutionary and so tight. Yet, the length is just so much!
Rated 8/10
Damn, rock used to ROCK huh. Keith moon, just wild! It’s just so short but what a great snapshot.
Rated 10/10
If you dont like this, you are either lying or just simply dont like Rock or guitar rock. Sure, it feels a bit weaker on the back end, but so raw, bluesy, riffs for days and to me a timeless sound of youthful rock energy.
Don't want slain anyone right after she dies - but DAMN this is a boring album
I’d also rather gauge my ears out than listen to I’ve had enough again.
Rated 8/10
It's a vibe for sure - musicality its impressive with drums that just DRIVE..but the album also DRAGS

In a alternative or more righteous world, Jimi Goodwin and Doves would be the superstars and coldplay would have been the hipster pick. But alas here we are.
That all being said, this album came out in my PURE teen hormonal rage and wheewwww brings back memories. I still remember buying the CD and listening to it cover to cover.
It’s a masterclass in how to write a hook even if all you can play is basic bar chords.
Rated 4/10
Synth and Paul Simon- would you like Mayo on your PB&J?
You can though really see the building blocks of what would become Graceland but 0 reason this should be on this list.
Rated 8/10
Electronica and EDM albums I have a hard time on where to place them on this list - but totally as hipster as I want to sound/look, this was a lot of fun.
Sure, is it a great example of Obama Era Recession Pop, absolutely. But maybe we millennials had a point in just enjoying it for a min before the facade came crumbling down?
Rated 10/10
Pre-Berlin Bowie!
Opens with one of the best pop-rock songs ever and just keeps it up. Even the weakest songs on the album (Warhol+Dylan) have great melodies - should have sold better when it came out.
Rated 4/10
First Half - Not offensive…just not good
Second half- still not offensive but better.
Rated 6/10
I of course know who he is- and how talented he is and the impact he had on western music for a generation.
I also don’t necessarily have the context to fully judge it. I can appreciate the musicianship even if I won’t go back to it.
Rated 8/10
The title track is an all time classic- the rest of the album is solid and fun. Theatrical, blues rock, even a little prog. Doesn’t take itself to seriously.
Rated 10/10
To quote the 1001 albums podcast - it's ballsy, melancholy, not a rocker, smart, drug addled and genius.
