Really puts the double in double album!

And yet every single track is fire. Funk, jazz, P-funk, old school, great samples, hit after hit.

Ohh look a hip hop album that sounds different…that hasn’t happened in 15 years.

Love below should have been trimmed down by 3-4 songs but overall doesn’t take away from the creativity and new voice it brought to pop music.

It’s good classic Neil Young but it also just kinda floats over me…nothing to special. Just solid Neil Young but not essential.

Is there anyone more over represented on this list? So many great jazz, blues and world artists but FIVE Nick Cave Albums??! 5!

Idk, it’s…fine..SO boring and relying on the fact that its brooding to make up for any musicality at all.

A bottle of red, a bottle of white and a five-I’ve-I’ve-I’ve-I’ve.

When will you realize Vienna waits for you? That only the good die young?

Here is the thing - i really like Steve Earle. I like his music and as a person. Even though this isnt his best album or music - i still really like it...but...is it essential listening? It's just not, there just isn't a reason this needs to be on this list, despite how much i like his sound.

Phew- so so so so so innovative and important - and yet, the story takes way way bigger precedent over the songs.

You also can’t make an argument against how important this album is.

I’ve said it every time Stevie’s Classic period albums come up here…

Funky, Jazzy, Jamming, TONTO Stevie > Sappy and Cheesy Stevie!

Some fun white British guys blues - but nothing that really stands out.

Cinematic hipster varied sound about the suburbs…my millennial heart swoons.

Maybe it is a hipster masterpiece meant to live in that era…or maybe musically it’s orchestral rock and universal themes are so pitch perfect for the time that it’s timeless.

Is it a smidge to long, yes…is it essential absolutely.

Maybe im just not in the right headspace but trying to understand who would listen to this not as part of a sexy spy film soundtrack. Who turns this on, on a random day?

I really am trying to separate the album fy hie much of a nazi assaulting fucking rich twat Casablanca is…but also.

It’s just boring, pretentious and monotonous…brings nothing new to the table. Sounds like an odor album made with daddy’s money.

What do I have to do to get leas Crosby and Stills- hell at least I got Young.

Neil’s dirtiness is the entire key and none of these guy should have made music without him- except maybe Nash.

Perfect example of a “3” album.

Not offended either way on or off the list. Could be a 4 with a little less repetition.

He had one shot to prove the haters wrong. Not only did he do it, but he did it three times I’ll put up against not only any Beatles solo album but Beatles album.

Haters gonna Hate and George gonna wah wah.

Jamaica Jerk aside and the fact its front loaded - such a classic album full of incredible songwriting and mega hits. Did you know Elton can get down with some Prog?

One Poet + One Jazz Pianist - maybe not the two together. I love protest music but what makes protest music last, is its timelessness - not sure this record shouldnt have been left behind in the with Watergate. Brian Jackson though has some grooves.

Not even the best REM and still just a great album - scuh pitch perfect indie. Is it a masterpiece, probably not but is there a weak song here..no.
