So good it almost makes you forget that throughout the latter half of the 20th century the United States backed and funded coups in Brazil and other South American countries to overthrow democratically elected governments and install right wing dictatorships who were more favorable to their corporate interests which resulted in the deaths and imprisonment of hundreds of thousands of people

Sleepy-core

It's good because it's Paul McCartney, but I don't think there are many other people who could have gotten away with this

The megadeth formula:
-Sickest riff you’ve ever heard
-Corniest vocals you’ve ever heard
-Guitar solo
Rated 4/10
I think this was one of those "you had to be there" things
Rated 6/10
It's good, but it gets absolutely bodied by every other CSNY solo album that came out around this time.

If you're reading this before you listen to the album:
Just skip Dark Star and Feedback. It's ok, don't feel bad about it. Just skip them. You're not missing anything. You don't need to listen to 30 minutes of that. Just skip them. The rest of the album is actually decent. Just skip them.

I mean what am I gonna do, NOT give Illmatic 5 stars?
Rated 6/10
I dunno, if I’m Zooey Deschanel in Almost Famous I just don’t think this is the album I would pick to show my brother that music is good
Rated 10/10
I know this album is not gonna be everyone's shit, and that's ok. But it is extremely my shit.
Great reminder that this list is NOT called "The 1001 best albums of all time".
If nothing else I hope that people will appreciate the work of Wes Borland.

I dunno man, sure.

Music made by, for, and about huge weirdos
Rated 6/10
RHCP to me has always felt like a band that is lesser than the sum of its parts.
-John Frusciante, one of the most well-respected guitarists of all time and has all kinds of great riffs on here
-Chad Smith, great drummer and remember how he looks like Will Ferrell? Isn't that funny?
-Anthony Kiedis
-Flea, one of the most well-respected bassists of all time
Other than a few notable standouts most of their songs are kinda fun but also pretty ass.

WOW i thought these guys were great but I just read the lyrics and realized they’re WOKE how do i change my review to 1 star

Eddie Vedder really popped off when he said [indecipherable]

Unfortunately I think I like the idea of Bob Dylan more than I actually like Bob Dylan
