I like almost every song on this album. I just don't want to listen to them all in a row. For whatever reason I can only deal with 2-3 Soundgarden songs in a sitting.

It's easy to be tired of the 2 hits. But that's not fair to the album. Listening with fresh ears reminds me how solid this is.

It's easy to take the Rolling Stones for granted. Don't! There is so much good stuff on this album. Of course the dirty, dirty guitars. But also the horns and organs and pianos.

I used to be an aspiring musician. It's albums and artists like this that made me quit. Realistically, this album is far better than anything I could have ever done. Good production, good musicianship, good vocals, etc. And yet it's just so blah. Why would I bother making music that isn't even as good as this not very good music?

Every song on this is funny and actually pretty enjoyable music. The problem with funny music is that subsequent listens don't really hit the same way. It's kind of why albums and artists like this get branded as "novelty" and never really rise to the top.

The true definition of 'all killer no filler.' There is not a second of fluff on this album. No showy musicianship, no dragged out overly long songs, just everything that is necessary and nothing else. And such an iconic sound! Impeccable vocals, spot on harmonies, and perfectly succinct rhythm section.

Take a drive up the coast on a warm night with the top down, and turn this up to 11.

Fucking A, can Brian May play guitar! This is a great album so around. But mostly it's notable for being the album where Brian May way outshines Freddy Mercury.

First time hearing this. It's pretty damn good. Should probably give it 4 stars, not going with 3 because I'm not likely to put it on again.

Rated 6/10

Aimee Mann is a really cool person. She's always been unique and true to her own style. I wish I liked her music more. But I just don't.

Out of respect for my friends who love the Dead I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 2. It just doesn't work for me. And I've tried. I've REALLY tried for like 40 years. I just can't connect with it. I can appreciate 2-3 songs of theirs, none of which are on this album. It all sounds like poorly recorded country music with weak singing.
