YABAAAAAA
(Yet Another British Album)
It's fine, as if they'd just stuck a Michael Buble album in here. Can't tell what decade it's from just by listening to it.
Highlights: born under a bad sign (voice reminded me of Morrissey)
Rated 6/10

An alright high energy rock album. Not sure why it's on here though, feels pretty average. 2*
Rated 8/10
I found myself kind of enjoying it, felt very background-y, then I realized I was listening to Strange Cargo 2! That being said, Strange Cargo 3 was very similar. Feels like 90s video game music. 4*
Rated 8/10
This felt like very old school hip hop -- lots of scratching and rap. I'm not the biggest hip hop head so I never know how to rate these, but this I enjoyed. 4*
Rated 8/10
I can see the hype. Great voice and production, fresh, varied, and not stale like most albums on this list. 4*
This was an alright synth=y album. Good vibes without being obnoxious. I can see the Cure comparisons. 3*
Highlights: extended souvenir
Rated 6/10
Yet another 60s/Byrds album, meh. 3*
Highlights: wild mountain thyme (lol that this is a cover)
Rated 2/10
Not even 30 seconds in and I'm just like ughhhhh. Interstitials were annoying as fuck, which docked this to a 1* for me.
Rated 4/10
Atrocious album cover, reminds me of Aaahh!!! real monsters. 80s drivel album. Heartland sounded like something out of a musical, which was cool.
Rated 2/10
Is this another fairy album? I don't mean that in a derogatory way, but in a medieval maiden kind of way.
Update: not a medieval fairy album, just a bland rock album, why is it on this list. Every time I thought Calvary was ending, it still had 3 minutes left. Happy trails could not be more pitchy.
1*

I have a STEM PhD and enjoyed both the lyricism and melodies of this. Some would say my intelligence is right around the middle of the bell curve though, so maybe that's why.
Trolling aside, this is my second Common album this week, and this is so different. Hip hop that's more like old Kanye, which I really enjoyed. We need more albums like this on this list, fresh, great sound. 5*
Highlights: be, faithful

Idk, Bob Dylan is just not for me. This was fine, but I can't stand his voice. 2*
Rated 4/10
Mopier cure/smiths, and not in a good way. Very underwhelmed. 2*
Rated 4/10
More sonic youth?! I tolerated more than other albums of theirs, but still did not enjoy it. 2*
Rated 4/10
This is like out of tune nirvana. I like some dinosaur jr songs, but not most of these.
Rated 4/10
I really don't enjoy his nasal voice in this one. But I LOVE "what's so funny...", but that can't carry the album.
WOW, unexpected slur.
Rated 2/10
Nick cave continues to be overrepresented here for how I didn't even know of him before. This album is insufferable. I listened to 4 songs (3 of which were highlighted by apple music), and I was just done. I don't need this to drag me down on a Friday. 1*
Rated 6/10
U2 gets so much hate here. This is perfectly passable, some nice songs, but Bono's voice is sometimes obnoxious. 3*
Highlights: one, mysterious ways
Rated 4/10
For a hip hop album, this was more "beats" than rap, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Otherwise it dragged. Just ok.
Rated 4/10
Very much department store music vibes. More generic british garbage that doesn't deserve to be memorialized by this list. They should have stopped at 500 instead of adding filler to get to 1001.
