This was some goofy shit for sure but I didn’t hate it. I’d probably rate it much higher if it were half the length.

This one used to be an easy 5/5 when I was younger. I assumed that my love and appreciation for it would have waned a bit as my musical tastes have evolved. Nope! Still 5/5.

These guys influenced about 1,000 bands that I love but for some reason I’ve just never been able to enjoy it.

This absolutely deserves to be here. I fully believe this album inspired more kids to pick up instruments than any single album on this list.

This has always been a favorite of mine and I’m always surprised to see poor reviews for it.

Hell yeah, I’ve always thought Dr. John was cool so I’m psyched he has an album on this list.
Rated 8/10
Proof that you don’t have to have a good voice to make a great album.
Rated 6/10
This wasn’t at all what I had expected. It wasn’t bad but I feel like I’d have to listen to it a few more times for it to really click with me.
Rated 10/10
By far my favorite post-Beatles album.
Rated 6/10
Not a fun album by any means, but I enjoy Cohen’s songwriting. Not my favorite album of his but it’s pretty solid.
Rated 8/10
This one was pretty fundamental to me in my youth but as I’ve gotten older I like Dexter’s voice less and less.

I’ve come to believe that pretty much everything Wu-Tang and Wu-Tang affiliated is gonna be cool as fuck and this is no different.
Gil Scott-Heron vibes for sure. I’d never heard of this group, but I’m familiar with Michael Franti. I really enjoyed this one!

There’s a few great songs on this album and some that are borderline irritating.
Rated 6/10
If this album were half the length I would probably rate it a little higher.

A lot of this band is just noise. I liked some of the noise this time at least.

This shit is in my blood.
Rated 8/10
I’ve always had a soft spot for Megadeth despite not being in love with the genre and this album is why.
Rated 10/10
It’s been at least a decade since I’ve listened to this album start to finish because it’s easy enough to hear most of these songs on their own in the wild. This one is still as great as it ever was.
Not my favorite Bowie album, but Ziggy Stardust was the first song I learned on guitar. 5/5.
