I thought this would be better.

I’ve never liked the Beatles music, but this is honestly better than anything I’ve heard from the band as a collective, and I’ve heard most of their albums. I’m not one of those guys that says “omg they’re sooooo overrated” or anything, they just never clicked with me. This is half decent, though. 2.5/5.

Few listens. I enjoy this album. The first two songs, which I believe were singles, are fantastic. The remainder of the album is solid without any standouts.

Reading the wiki watched; I’ll never respect any review that Jon Landau puts out. Ranking this and Plastic Ono Band over All Things Must Pass is egregious.

Such a fun album for me. The Wings rock. Some absolute bangers on here for sure and the lesser known tracks are great too. Probably a 4.5 for me but feeling generous enough for a 5

Es un disco redondo, es muy entretenido y tiene un montón de cosas chulas. Claramente McCartney es mi beatle favorito.

And here, got an album that was better than I was expecting. I knew the songs Band On the Run and Jet (fantastic songs), but the rest is just classic McCartney sounds. Bluebird and Mamunia probably being the weak links on the album. Mrs. Vanderbilt is great.

I’m disappointed with myself that I’ve never listened to this before. I love the Beatles and know their entire discography front to back. I’ve listened to plenty of their solo stuff (including Ringo’s stuff!). But somehow I just never got around to this one. But it’s fantastic! It’s already in contention to be my favorite solo Beatle effort

1001 Foods You Must Eat Before You Die: Worcestershire sauce

Ive heard from many that it tastes good on wings. Many restaurants put int in their delivery bags so you can enjoy it on the run. Let it fly over your dinner like a jet or a bluebird.

this is pretty good, nothin compared to temporary secretary though

I mean... 2.5?

The best 'musician' of The Beatles (Lennon being the best spirit, Harrison, the best late-bloomer, Ringo, the best drummer), McCartney made a good - a very good record - w/ Band On The Run that yet didn't convince me 'til 'Let Me Roll It,' ironically the most Lennon-like track on the entire album. I can't refuse his case as a talent & a wit - 'Drink to me, drink to my health / You know I can't drink anymore' - & a master of sound & songwriting, but I also can't deny the fact that I find it hard to love him & his music. It's not a shallow or hollow enterprise, but it's also not deep or feeling business. If I wanted British wit, Paul would be my second go-to, & for that I can be more than appreciative, but he'll always be behind Costello, the best of the form.

"But I *did* get Paul McCartney out of Wings."
"YOU IDIOT!! He was the most talented one!!!"

Rated 10/10

Paul is the best Beatle and I will die on that hill.

Rated 6/10

Ah slightly better than expected! Jet is a banger fr fr. I know that these Wings song do outstay their welcome, and that was true for a few of these, but overall a nice time

Rated 8/10

Some great songs on here, but parts were a bit boring which brought the mood down

By far my favorite post-Beatles album.

Rated 8/10

A pretty awesome album that leaves a smaller impression upon me than I would prefer. The title track is AWESOME, to be sure, and each song is pretty cool and altogether enjoyable. I think the big problem is that it feels like an ever-so-slightly watered down version of its former and obvious superior, that being Ram, which is generally better in every way. This is pretty, and sometimes attractive in its ideas, especially as the album progresses, with some simply wonderful McCartney moments, and some moments that do some obviously awesome shit, and that’s mainly what this album does. It’s obviously good. It’s of obvious quality. At the same time. It’s not great, and it’s not worth expending much energy for.

Love this one! #MUSICSKY #ALBUMSKY

Definitely Paul’s best solo work. The title track is a pretty wild composition, as is Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five.
