Knights of Cydonia is one of those songs that’s always made my skin crawl and I’ve always been deterred from these guys because of that. I was prepared to give this a 1 or 2 because I fucking hate that song but I didn’t realize Starlight was these guys, and Supermassive Black Hole isn’t as annoying as I remember.

If Purple Rain was the only good song on this album it’d still be a 5/5 album for me. Luckily that isn’t the case because this one is incredible.

This would’ve been right up my alley when I was 16 and while I knew who these guys were it was never on my radar. This one blew me away.

This is a quirky little album and unfortunately I couldn’t hear much of the narration between each song because I was listening in a loud environment. Perhaps I’ll listen again some day but the songs weren’t good enough for that to happen any time soon.

I’m a relatively new Oasis fan so this was my first time hearing this album in its entirety. The hits are obviously great but the other songs are often just as good.
Good shit right here, and proof that live albums can be spectacular.

With a name like that I was expecting this album to be more interesting.
I used to love punk but I hated Sex Pistols as a teen. Now I love punk and I’m indifferent to Sex Pistols.

Parts of this album sounded like I was trying to play along with a boring punk band but my only instrument is my shitty Casio keyboard from 1999. Better than I was expecting but worse than it could have been.

Up until now I was only familiar with Collins Genesis and solo Gabriel. I knew these guys used to be prog but I was still surprised by how prog this album is.
