One of the best albums to listen to if you have rage you need to release.

Oh, I already know this is going to be a 5. I’ve loved this album since it came out. One of the sexiest, most ethereally beautiful albums and music artists out there. Words can’t describe how much I love all these songs and their music videos.

What else is there to say but 🤘🏽?
Fun theatrical energy.

Damn, I knew Carole King’s music before I knew it was Carole King hah! I feel like nearly every single song on this is well-known, which is wild. Solid album.
Rated 10/10
One of my favorite bands and albums before even getting this. But I’m excited to give it a 100/5 stars anyways.
…..and, yup, still as glorious as ever. Love them so much.

Some of the sudden singing-to-speaking felt a bit jarring (like in Lady Godiva’s Operation). Not sure this is quite my vibe.
Rated 4/10
Fun, 80s vibe but not something I’d reach for.

Literally the moment the first song started, I became mesmerized by the beats and Kendrick’s raw rap talent. Admittedly, some of the lyrics early on about women were not my favorite and almost put me off listening to the rest, but then I looked this up and learned that Kendrick is purposely telling a narrative about his complex life as a teenager and is open about the perspectives he held at the time (which he then challenges in a self-reflective way later on). It softened me and helped me experience the album as essentially a movie of his relationship with his life and how he is challenging his own narrative that wasn’t even his, but that he was influenced to have.
Honestly…I’m kind of in awe of his storytelling and vulnerability after listening to the whole thing.
What an artist. There is no doubt that Kendrick is one of a kind and is one of the best out there.

I really do like CCR, but this was a little too “dad” for me and not something I’d willingly reach for these days.
Rated 8/10
Really fun album. Such dad vibes, but I love it.

I feel like I’ve been transported to a roller rink in the 90s and am skating in circles with my friends while a bunch of flashing strobe lights are illuminating the whole place…
And I am HERE for it! Such fun energy.
The ultimate rage album for when you need to get it all out. I wouldn’t say this is masterful music that runs deep, but this is definitely one of my rage therapy albums.

Lots of respect for Herbie Hancock, but not something I’d go to if I want something in the background.
Rated 8/10
I don’t expect anything other than fun when I listen to the iconic David Bowie and this delivered.
Rated 8/10
Queen.

Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven, snd Nothing Else Matters on the same album?
Iconic.

Inject this in my bloodstream. Listening to Maxwell sing is like having the smoothest silk wrapped around you.
Not for me.
Rated 4/10
I feel like I just listened to a college/coming-of-age movie soundtrack from the 80s. Or maybe a horror comedy with some of the songs. Fun, unique, upbeat energy.
