I’ve never heard of this before this. I thought it sounded promising from the description but the vocals are a bit harsh, and I really don’t like saxophone/horns in songs. But the last half of the album seemed to be better.

I was surprised that a bunch of the songs were most known from other artists like Elvis, Little Richard, but guess that’s the way it went back then. But fun album for sure.

Oh, just read he was a pedo racist though, so knocked it down for that.

I'm a big fan of Portishead. When Third came out, I was surprised it sounded so different than the previous albums, no turntable stuff, stark sounds that started and stopped. But once I got used to it I fell in love. The only thing that throws me off still is how much Machine Gun sounds like the Terminator theme at the end. I assume it was subconscious accidently copying it, but still, lol.

I knew 1 or 2 of these guys songs from the ones they play on the Alt station I listen to, but none of these songs on this album I guess. I liked them.

Never heard of this before. It was interesting, some early punk, some weird stuff, definitely keeps your attention.

I remember Constant Craving from when I was young but the rest of the album is not my thing. I don't like country at all, and the rest wasn't much better.

I don't know much by The Smiths. I really like How Soon Is Now though. So this album I think was all new to me. I liked it.
