I appreciate it’s relatively varied and “purple rain” is a timeless track but I wouldn’t rlly listen to any of the other songs on daily basis so high 3

For a few minutes i deadass thought it was a coincidence i receive this album the day after Dolly’s passing but apparently it’s the same for everyone. I gotta say listening to her songs now feels much more depressing. She had a lovely voice and timeless hits, but most of all she was a good soul and for that reason i believe her death is truly a big loss for the world. Now i can’t give this album more than a 3 since i really dislike country music, but Dolly’s stuff is probably the best of the genre.

Achtung BabyU2

Rated 8/10

I have an inexplicable fondness of U2 and though their vocals are rough at times and there were some mediocre songs in this, the album is a solid 4

ArrivalABBA

Rated 8/10

ABBA have so many bangers but they are fairly evenly distributed amongst their albums so it’s hard to compare. That being said i believe if Voulez-vous is a 5 that puts Arrival at a high 4. Fav tracks:”Dancing queen” and “Why did it have to be me”

BlurBlur

Rated 8/10

I prefer Oasis, purely from a technical standpoint their vocals are better imo. This feels slightly more experimental and whiny. Still a good listen tho. Fav track: “Death of a party”

The BendsRadiohead

Rated 10/10

Currently i probably like it better than “in rainbows”. Fav tracks are at least half the album so no point in listing them.

★David Bowie

Rated 8/10

Bowie is a very unique performer, i’ll give him that. He has songs everybody’s heard of, the praise is probably well deserved. Still can’t quite get used to his singing style tho. Looking forward to the other albums. Low 4, almost a 3
