ScumNapalm Death

Rated 6/10

Gets a bit stale towards the end but this isn't nearly as bad as people on this website seem to think it is. Some of this actually really good

WarU2

Rated 7/10

Not a big U2 fan but I do like this album. It's not perfect by any means but it's the only album of there's that I feel has any punch to it. Several great songs here but I think New Year's Day was by far my favourite.

Can't decide whether i prefer this or Thriller. The front half of this is basically all bangers but the deeper cuts in the second half are fantastic also.

SpiderlandSlint

Rated 9/10

One of my favourite albums ever. This has such an unsettling and eerie sound to it that I don't think I've heard replicated anywhere else. Nosferatu Man is my favourite song here but all 6 tracks on this thing are great while also managing to sound completely different from one another.

This is the first of what I can only assume is several Bowie albums that I've listened to for this project. He definitely has better albums than this but this one is still fantastic in its own right and contains a few of his best songs ever.

It's a Stevie Wonder album from the 1970s so a 5 is basically the only score I can give this. Not a single bad song on here and there's at least 3 that are among his best ever. And the crazy part is that this isn't even his best album.

Definitely the longest album I've listened to for this project so far. At 38 songs and almost 2 hours this is definitely very bloated and way longer than it needs to be but there was never a moment where I was bored during this or sick of the sound which is quite impressive considering how long this is. Certainly a very flawed album but one that I can say i still thoroughly enjoyed.

Definitely a personal favourite of mine. I love all of Rage's albums but I don't think they ever came close to putting out something as hard or as aggressive as this ever again. The riffs, the rapping and the direct lyrics all come together perfectly here and create what is essentially the perfect album for the genre it's in. Also helps that every song is a fucking heater too.

21Adele

Rated 4/10

I'm not a 40 year old single mother so I don't think I'm the target audience for this. Adele has an impressive voice and Rolling in the Deep is a pretty great song but most of this was very boring.

This isn't as good of a listen as other Radiohead albums but so many of the bands best songs ever are on here so I can't really give this anything lower than a 5.

Favs: Weird Fishes / Arpeggi, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, Nude, All I Need

Would've given this the full 5 if not for some of the skits. Still plenty of great songs on here but for some reason all 90s hip hop albums were required to have annoying skits tacked onto the ends of songs which completely ruin the flow. But this does have Ready or Not, Fu-Gee-La and Killing Me Softly on it so I can only complain so much.

I'll literally never understand the appeal of the Black Keys. Boring band who make car commercial music. Every song on this album sounds identical and only one of them is any good
