Take on me is one of the most iconic pop songs of all time. But the rest of the album is far less iconic, haha. Or should I say a-ha?

It's classic rock, but probably no songs that you would already recognize. It's musically well composed and has a good sound of it's own. Not just a direct imitation of the sounds of the era.

I previously discovered the titular song of this album and absolutely loved it. This band has a great sound. I wish I could give it more than 3 stars, but it's really just one hit song and a pretty unique sound. Maybe it's a low 4 stars.

It was a pretty cool album, it started off strong then tapered off. Very conceptual. Very, Very Hungry is the last song that caught my attention because I think it used a sample that reminded me of a Red Axes song. The Jezebel Spirit and Help Me Somebody make excellent use of sampling too.

Despite the difference in number of listens, I actually really like From Rags to Riches more than Tinseltown In the Rain. The latter is pretty generic, in my opinion, but Rags to Riches hits a really cool fantasy sound.

The album hits some really interesting moods. Like one that I think is cool is the transition into Viorar Vel til Loftrarasa (track 7). But I think the whole album is cool, if a bit long, but would you really want to rush this type of music?

I thought this album was awesome! Just the right amount of production, one of the better pop albums that I've heard.

I think this is a fantastic blues album. It's a bit more modern than some of the purest of blues, but I think that broadens its appeal.

I didn't get much from this album, tbh. I also couldn't quite give it enough attention.

Buried Alive In the Blues was an incredible instrumental song. Me and Bobby McGee is obviously catchy, but weirdly enough didn't stand out to me, haha. Yeah, her voice was one-of-a-kind, really awesome.
