Tracks 1/2: “we don’t need no men”
Track 3: “yeah, men, look at my booty”
Track 4: “ew, girl, put some fucking clothes on and stop being such a fucking slag”
Tracks 5-18(!): idk, something about apple pies??

It blows my mind that it’s even technically possible to make an album of 1,000 samples and no original instruments. The fact it sounds so damn good and unique too is what gets 5 stars

The first 12 songs are damn near perfection.

Really should have stopped the album there… the last 3 tracks are so obviously filler to make it a double length LP.

I’ve no doubt that in 1996 this kind of dance music was tough to make and therefore sounded new and exciting.

In 2026, if you told me a teenager made this on GarageBand in a weekend then I’d believe you.

I used to be with ‘it’, but then they changed what ‘it’ was.
Now what I’m with isn’t ‘it’ anymore and what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary to me.

Sounds like Talking Heads got shitfaced and had an improv jam. Which is not nearly as bad as it sounds.

TenPearl Jam

Rated 6/10

My favourite Pearl Jam album is Mirrorball…. You know the one where they replaced Eddie Vedder with Neil Young… that one.

This is what Alice Cooper sounds like??

I’d steered clear based on his image thinking it was some Marilyn Manson Rob Zombie nonsense.

Instead it’s closer to T-Rex and Bowie… except.. not as good as either of those.

Rated 4/10

Today’s my 38th birthday.
38 years old & I’m sat here listening to The pissing Offspring.
I’m too old for this shit.

FINE, have an extra star.

This album should automatically start playing every time someone refers to anything like Coldplay or The Killers or Kings of Leon as “Indie”.

Yes I’m gatekeeping genres.

Dont judge me. You’re a hipster too. That’s why you’re on this website.
