My favorite band from teenage years - every song still "clicks" with me!
I'll give it a 5/5 easily:
- great songs,
- lovely memories,
- everything is as it should be ;-)

I knew a lot of these songs but I didn't knew which artist was... So, after all this years, I'm glad that I had this opportunity!
Overall, a master classic, really enjoyable album

I remember this, it was so amazing... and we were taking knowledge (at least in my country, anyway!) of the tragedy/crimes of apartheid and what was going on in South Africa! Listening to several artists showing their art and their collaboration and showcasing what wasn't being told (at least, once again, not in the country where I live!) was an eye opener and a maturing process.
If I recall, later on, in 1987, Paul Simon did a tremendous gig in New York's central park, which was nothing ever seen at that time, such a large amount of people went there :-)
Overall, I really love this album and "Diamonds on the sole of her shoes", alone, it always will be a masterpiece IMHO
Rated 4/10
It gets boring pretty soon! I can't even remember any song past 4th or 5th :-(
Also, like the country albums I'm getting, I'm totally sure these are not for my taste
Please, no more country, I'm begging you! I know, I understand, I respect the big names on this genre: Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson... I mean, I can and will listen to those, they're amazing, almighty talented people!
This was just unbearable to me; call it cultural differences, whatever, I couldn't go over the entire album, skipped past the 3rd or 4th track! Who knows, can't remember a thing but the whining, a solid 0 from me (oh, wait, can't give 0!!!)
Rated 10/10
It was a joy to listen to this album, what can I say? I'm no expert but this sounds so refreshing, different and beautiful. 5/5

A pure gem, a wonderful listening - Games without frontiers and Biko, on their own, are amazing! But the rest of the songs doesn't get behind. I loved it, one of my favs
Rated 2/10
It was painful to go through the entire album... It quickly became repetitive IMHO! And yes, we can, and is refreshingly awesome, that we do have different opinions!

A fantastic album! I really loved this band and was fascinated by Eddie Vedder's vocals, their lyrics and their sound. I enjoyed listening to them so much that they became my favourites and I put aside a lot of the stuff I was listening to at the time (80s and mostly mainstream pop and electronic bands at the time).
It reshaped my taste, opened my mind to other genres and I believe it partly brought me to the music listener I am today.
The singles here are all spectacular, from the first to the last, real bangers <3

What a show, it brought back the energy I thought I didn't have to enjoy such a vibrant album! You feel like moving to the sound of every beat... and it never stops, it's always pumping!
Rated 2/10
At some point, one has to ask himself: "is this original, does this contribute somehow to our happiness, does this add some value to whatever"?!?!?
The start was not bad but after some minutes the repetition ad nauseam really got me headaches! And from that point on the amount of repetitive beats, songs and themes was such that I struggle to keep listening to it.
I do love electronic music but please, there's a limit to what you should praise in it :-/
Rated 10/10
Perfect album... in fact, I didn't remember that it had so many perfect songs: Bad, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal, The way you make me feel, Man in the mirror... Come on, how many artists/bands have such a line up album?!?
Only rating possible by this criteria has to be 5/5
Rated 2/10
Not for me, sorry! I went through the whole thing but it was too much strange so that I could really enjoy it! I know this is not a popular opinion since I saw the high ratings around here... but I can't go for such, not my thing. Once again, sorry, all the KC lovers :-(
Rated 10/10
It captures the 80s very well, great songs, great melodies, something you listen to and listen to and can't get enough of. I was undecided between 4 or 5 and then I started thinking about other albums I'd given 4 to and, naaahhh, this one's going to get a 5
Rated 2/10
Please, not for me, absolutely no country... This is something that will make me die if I have to listen to it!
So yes, I think it's apropriate to say that with a record like this on this list, if you're not dead afterwards you'll survive pretty much anything :-/
Rated 4/10
Not my kind of music, sorry! After a sequence of great albums, it was some how difficult for me to go through this. But, as I stated, this is a purely subjective opinion, I'm not into this particular kind of music, this definitely didn't stuck with me
Rated 10/10
Absolute pioneers of a genre, Kraftwerk at their best, wonderful masterpiece :-)
Absolutely marvelous album! Songs that are as fresh as in the day they're released. I had a wonderful time listening to this album and reliving old memories, memories that go back to when I was a young teenager and we got together in groups, at some friends house, listening to this and having a great time <3
Can we go back in time, please?
Rated 2/10
Absolutely disposable, background music for pret-a-porter store :-(
Rated 6/10
Not the kind of music that I usually listen! The only reason I gave it a 3 ;-)
Nothing against her, nothing against her music, she's obviously a talented woman... but this music is, for me, the kind of music I compare to a gum, you chew it and you through it away when finished!
