Finally! Now this - this is an album that makes me feel something: discomfort, fury, anger, curiosity, amazement, a craving for more, the urge to dance, to play it over and over - it makes me feel alive and full of energy!

I don’t buy into the stats this project throws at me - sorry, there’s something very punk and basic about me! The ’70s come up as my favorite decade and world music as my favorite genre, but I think that’s just bullshit they’re feeding me - most of the punk albums that’ve come out here got a 5 from me! And this is yet another one to get a perfect 5 out of 5 and go straight into my heavy rotation, as a special favorite <3

I loved every second of it ;-)

Thanks, album generator - you really made my day this time :-D

I liked some of the tracks... I mean, I really liked some of them—enough to make me want to dance!

Overall, like so many other electronic albums, it gets repetitive.

I'm starting to seriously consider giving up on this project and my daily “fun”; it's turning into a real sacrifice, just as bad as the days spent at the office (which this project was supposed to help make easier).

All things considered, I really like reggae and had fun listening to songs like “Sunday Shining” and reminiscing about “Even After All,” so a 3 out of 5 seems appropriate to me ;-)

How do you guys say it in the States? It’s like going to a campaign rally and being subjected to 90 minutes of talk about values, conservatism, the rise of - I don’t know what else… Clearly, this isn’t meant for anyone outside the U.S., let alone a list of albums to listen to before you die!

Once again, I find myself wondering about the criteria behind the choices made by whoever wrote this book/list - there’s no way this thing has any universal appeal! Albums like this are only of interest to those who share the nationality and values represented in them.

And there you go, bring on the next wave of hate for my opinion :-(

EDIT: After 40+ minutes, I gave up and went to listen to the “Reddit: Songs to Hear at Least Once” playlist on Spotify instead. Now that’s a more balanced playlist ;-)

It reminds me of my youth - I love this: clean pop, fantastic guitars, a smooth sound, beautiful lyrics... I knew right away this was going to be a 10/10

Shout out for 'Perfect Skin', 'Forest Fire', 'Are you ready to be heartbroken?'

And yes, you can also mention 'Rattlesnakes', although it's not one of my favs :-D

Although I really love Bruce Springsteen, in my opinion this is just an average album of his. It’s not as significant as *Nebraska*, *Born to Run*, *Tunnel of Love*, etc, IMHO

So, for an average album, I’ll give it a 3 out of 5.

You can give it a listen, but you don't have to. I agree with the person who said that, starting with the third track, almost everything sounded the same.

So, I'll take the middle ground and give it a 3/5.

I was first introduced to the Stone Roses through the album *The Second Coming*, which a friend invited me to listen to. At the time, Madchester was all the rage (it had already peaked, in my opinion!), but the scene was still producing incredibly original and truly alternative music.

With me rapidly approaching 20 years of age, listening to these guys and letting myself be carried away by the sounds they produced was a truly mind-blowing experience! The music alone could transport me to absolutely incredible fantasy realms. Good times. Another album that deserves to be here and that gets a solid 5 from me.

I think I can relax a little—those two horrible weeks seem to be behind me. I hope to make peace with this list and once again be able to experience music that’s truly worth listening to before I die.

5/5

This was everywhere. I mean, E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E. And, to be honest, it was fantastic.

I can’t say if I’m still able to listen to this regularly; I think my ears and brain must have gotten a little tired from the relentless rotation of this album and its hit songs.

But this is an album that definitely deserves to be here, and I can’t give it anything less than a 5. Too many top-notch tracks.

I can clearly see and understand why this was so influential; way ahead of it's time!

This band could be releasing this today and it would be still relevant and great :-D

I’ve always loved this side of the ’80s—I was growing up (as a teenager) and starting to get seriously into music! In other words, I was developing my own tastes; I’d exchange opinions with my friends, and we’d lend each other cassettes and records (back in the good old days of sharing in person, without streams or the cloud or any of that crap! Who even knows what a cassette is these days, or what it was like to record songs from the radio on our cassette decks?).

It’s so great to relive those times—it’s so great to remember so many good things. A 5, of course :-)

A classic. It's Roxy Music, it's Bryan Ferry and Brian Eno... it's great!

Had a wonderful time enjoying this! <3

A real variety of styles and genres. It was really fun and interesting to listen to this. And, before I knew it, I had a really nice time :-)

I read this review: «Thought this was a fun album and nice change of pace from the other albums we have heard so far.»

Kudos to that reviewer, I felt exactly the same ;-)

However, however... it's way too long and it's quality degrades theme after theme. And I have to agree with others, that Imagine cover is a nightmare, man

When I heard this (and realized it wasn't as bad as I thought), the algorithm decided to suggest some songs by the Oh Sees as soon as this album ended - and I have to thank it, because that turned out to be better than anything else up to that point ;-)

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no... please, please, no!

If I have to listen to any more country music, I'm really going to hang myself! And this one is literally going to become an album to listen to before I die :-(

Please, please, allow us to give 0/5... this is getting cruel! Can I have a decent album on this list soon, please?
