I expected a little more energy from this after seeing the album artwork. Just kinda boring to me. Tepid vocal deliveries and unremarkable instrumentals. This isn’t bad but nothing stands out enough where I can say I enjoyed it. The best song here is Squares but it’s 90% interpolation of another song.

This is my favorite Bowie album. The title track alone could make this a 5. The way he continues on the direction from Young Americans while expanding the overall sound. The Thin White Duke might be his most interesting persona.

Can’t believe the guy who helped write the Sonic 3 soundtrack also made pop music! This one is just hit after hit. I think overall Off The Wall is a better overall album. This one has some weaker tracks. Also, a reminder to listen to The Weeknd’s cover of Dirty Diana because it is fantastic. I think Smooth Criminal might be my favorite MJ song. In conclusion, Prince is better.

This album is really good. Definitely better than the other album by them we got earlier. The singles here are definitely the standouts. Not big on Voices Of Old People and Punky’s Dilemma, but every else here is pretty great. Favorites were America, Fakin’ It, Mrs Robinson, and A Hazy Shade Of Winter.

I think overall this might be my least favorite LCD Soundsystem album (unless you count 45:33). It probably is a better album than the debut, but the highlights on that are so undeniably great it elevated the rest. This is still a great album with fantastic synth work and vocal deliveries aplenty. I just think This Is Happening or, better yet, The Long Goodbye should have been here instead. Favorite songs were oh baby, change yr mind, how do you sleep?, and tonite.

This should be right up my alley and ,for the most part, it is. Very McCartney-esque songwriting. I just don’t like Coconut and think novelty songs like it ultimately drag the overall quality of albums down. Favorite songs were Gotta Get Up, Driving Along, Down, and Jump Into The Fire.

This was fun. It sticks within its lane and does it well. I like how emotive his voice is at times. Favorites were Heartland, Angels Of Deception, and The Mercy Beat.

This album is the sonic equivalent of walking home in the dark while its slightly damp out and you are wearing a jacket too light for the wind chill. This album puts you on edge. The more melodic sections can’t be fully enjoyed because of the cacophony that you know is imminent. Great album. Favorites were She’s Hit, Hamlet, Big-Jesus-Trash-Can, and Kiss Me Black.

This was pleasant enough but I’m not sure I will want to come back to it. I like when the harmonica is used though. Whole lotta covers here too. Favorites were Misguided Angel and Sweet Jane.

Since I last reviewed the Dead I made an effort to understand their appeal. And well? I get it now. I went through live album after live album to the point where they were my number one most listened artist of 2025. I don’t think this is their best live recording, but it shows flashes of why people love them so much. Are they the best musicians? No, but they have an ethos about them that makes it compelling. The massive length Dark Star, the way St Stephen leads into the next two tracks, the weirdness of Feedback. Is this good? Still not exactly sure. I’ll listen to fifteen more live shows and then get back to you.

This album is super important for the history of popular music and absolutely should be on this list. It doesn’t mean I can’t think it’s boring. It just feels like the same song over and over again with little variation in lyrical subject matter, tempo, or instrumental palette. Would it kill him to throw in a single faster song? Voice is great as expected and I really like the song I’ll Be Around.

I was absolutely ready to give this a three, but Duck For The Oyster is just so stupid. This does some interesting things, but I’m not sure I would really return to it with all the radio call-ins between the songs. Favorite songs were Buffalo Gals, Jive My Baby, and World’s Famous.

I was ready to come in here and hate, but then This Corrosion hits and all hatred is gone and the vibe is simply immaculate. This is a disgustingly 80’s album in the best way. Terrible album cover too. Favorite songs were Lucretia My Reflection and This Corrosion.

He really didn’t miss for that whole five album run. You Haven’t Done Nothin’ is kinda just Superstition again. Favorites were Heaven Is 10 Zillion Lightyears Away, Boogie On Reggae Woman, and It Ain’t No Use. I still don’t buy him being blind.

Non something I would seek out on my own but I am very glad I listened. This is probably the most enjoyment I have received from an Indian album so far. I loved the use of stereo separation while the instruments danced around each other and did call and response. Every instrument finds ways to shine here. My favorite moment was the final two minutes of Nat Bhairav where it accelerates. The title track is probably the best song overall though.

There aren’t many song as relistenable as Peg. You can listen to it in every scenario. At work? Peg. At the bar? Peg. Outdoors? Peg, In the shower? Peg. Maybe Peg should be played at my funeral. Just an immaculately recorded album from beginning to end with exceptional musicianship.

In Every Dream Home A Heartache is an awesome song with the way it breaks down into that instrumental outro. This is just as good as the other Roxy Music albums I have listened to. Other favorites were Editions Of You and Grey Lagoons.

I was preparing myself for something rough based on the global review scores here, but this was good. This definitely takes the subject matter to the extreme to the point of parody. The songs are fun and go interesting places the especially The Faith Healer and the three part The Last Of The Teenage Idols. A fun time overall. Favorites were Seampsnake, The Faith Healer, and Vambo Marble Eye

This is just one of the best albums of all time. I vividly remember hearing this for the first time in high school and knowing I was hearing something truly special. The lyrical content and various themes touched upon with the consistent through line of the poem work exceptionally well with the jazzy and funky instrumentation. I think this is Kendrick’s best album, however I find myself listening to GKMC slightly more.

While this barely cracks my top 5 Led Zeppelin albums it still is damn good. The harder faster songs work really well with the slower bluesier songs. Legendary riffs and some of best bass work and drumming around. Led Zeppelin is one of the few bands where each member could have an argument for being one of the best at their respective instrument ever.
