Interesting "eerie" music. I liked it

Rated 4/10

Zzzzzzz. And he can’t sing. Also supposedly there were many guest artists on this album but somehow it all sounded the same to me. Hard pass.

Rated 6/10

Not something in my general wheelhouse of listening. That said, there was a lot here I liked. Had a wider variety of styles than I expected and everything was performed very well. Still not sure it’s something I’d turn to often.

Rated 8/10

Decent, Song with no words very much a CSNY song

Rated 4/10

Interchangeable boring folk rock. The bluesy parts are better, but even then the musical performance is below average.

Cool mix of loose folk and some psychedelia. I enjoy how casual it feels, without sounding sloppy or lazy. That cover art is atrocious though.

Rated 8/10

I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but I liked it. How had I never heard of Cowboy Movie before?

Rated 6/10

Enjoyed this lots of interesting guest musicians, and good instrumental songs.

Rated 8/10

Liked this more than I was expecting to. It caught me on the right Sunday morning.

Rated 4/10

Mustaschen räddar honom från en 1:a.

Rated 6/10

I don't rightly know what it is, but CSN&Y just aren't for me. I've now listened to most of their albums and their solo work, but none has really stuck out.

Rated 6/10

Pro: Vocals("Music Is Love", "Laughing", "What Are Their Names"), some cool experiments("Music Is Love", "Orleans", "I'd Swear There Was Somebody Here"), Graham Nash, Neil Young, Crosby's guitar, Mickey Hart

Cons: Jerry Garcia (does he know more than the one guitar solo?), the cover, too much Grateful Dead slopping all over, heavy sedation

Rated 4/10

I didn't like the album, but it wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be. Still, I probably won't listen to it again and I don't feel like I missed anything so far.

Rated 8/10

It's like if I liked Neil Young's voice.

Rated 6/10

Nice.

This album reminds me a lot of America's output, being like you're relaxing on the beach, but that beach is in the middle of the woods, on a cold day. However, unlike America's early output, which I quite enjoy, I found this to be pretty boring. I understand that perhaps this was a big step for the soft rock genre, but is that really a genre worth highlighting? I mean, half the time, David Crosby and Co. decide to replace actual lyrics with slow, thoughtful vocalizing, but it leaves the song feeling hollow. There were small bits of joy when everything did come together properly, but as someone who just listened to Deja Vu, why would I pick this over something like that?
