Pretty boring. Did enjoy All I Wanna Do, which is a bit more Fun.

Sheryl Crow is the kinda artist that you tend to forget how iconic her music is. Really solid album, especially for a debut album!! I feel like I don't give Sheryl the attention she deserves. I haven't thought of her in like 20 years, but then when ya go back and listen to her music again, it is great. I think it may be because her music was played to death on the radio stations in the 90's/00's.
One thing I never noticed before, but immediately heard upon today's listen was how the well known riff from Barenaked Ladies song "Pinch Me" was taken directly from Sheryl Crow's song "Leaving Las Vegas". Another interesting note: If you like Sheryl Crow's song "Strong Enough", look up Adam Baldwin's cover version...I like it even more!
Favorite songs: Strong Enough, "Run, Baby, Run", Leaving Las Vegas, No One Said It Would Be Easy, Solidify, All I Wanna Do
Least favorite songs: We Do What We Can

The three country ballads ("Strong Enough", "No One Said it Would Be Easy", "I Shall Believe") are downright terrible. They offer exactly nothing interesting at all, and consist entirely of interminable whining and boring country music. However, the rest of the album shows a lot of variety and is actually pretty good.

i've always thought of sheryl as pop country so i was surprised to hear some of these songs that leaned more pop rock. theres a few good really good tracks, a few really bad ones, and the rest fall somewhere in between.

Ovaj je album definicija riječi "meh". Prva pjesma je najmanje loša.

Before this, I’d only heard Sheryl Crow’s biggest hits—never a full album—so I was curious to give Tuesday Night Music Club a proper listen on a quiet Sunday evening.
I’ve always enjoyed her greatest hits; they’re catchy, easygoing, and fun, even though pop/country isn’t usually my go-to genre. That said, a few tracks on this album really stood out. “Leaving Las Vegas” shines with its storytelling and energy, and “Can’t Cry Anymore” delivers an upbeat, infectious vibe that’s hard not to enjoy.
On the flip side, a few songs didn’t quite land. “Strong Enough” and “Solidify” felt flat and lacked the spark to keep my attention. Overall, the album leans into a middle-of-the-road country-rock sound—solid and well-produced, but nothing particularly groundbreaking or adventurous but a good fun album with some good songs.
That being said, Crow’s voice is excellent, and her songwriting talent is undeniable. While this album didn’t fully click with me, I can absolutely see the appeal for fans of this style.
Favourite Tracks: “Leaving Las Vegas” and “All I Wanna Do” – both standout sing-along anthems with great energy.
Least Favourite: “Strong Enough” and “No One Said It Would Be Easy” – both felt dull and forgettable.
Album Artwork: A fitting, well-designed cover

Aika tylsä ysäripoppislevy. Kaipaisin enemmän särmää. 2/5

I'm a fan of the late prog musician Kevin Gilbert, who was a member of the Tuesday Night Music Club, and an excellent musician and songwriter in his own right (check out his solo album Thud, released in 1995, the year before he died). KG was dating Crow while a member of the TNMC and he's the one who invited her to join that collective of incredibly talented musicians. Every article I've read says the same: she over-claimed credit for these songs and fell out with pretty much every member of the TNMC after the album was released. So, knowing this background colors how I view this album. However, if you ignore that backstory, it's an excellent album, deserving of all its success. Outstanding songs and excellent recording quality. Her voice perfectly matches the mood of the songs. I would give it the 5 it deserves, but I'm deducting 1 star for the way she treated her co-writers. Take that, Sheryl Crow! Favorite tracks: Pretty much all the tracks are great, not just the hits.

Nombre fidedigno. Aunque no es horrible oírlo, se me hace bastante cansado, y los 50 minutos que dura no ayudan.
Canción destacada: All I Wanna Do
Rated 6/10
I didn't have high hopes going into this one. To me Sheryl Crow is a 1 hit wonder with All I Wanna Do - and I can't stand that song
Was pleasantly surprised that not all of her songs were like that. Some I quite enjoyed. But there was also a lot of bad songs scattered among them
Overall ok album

Tuesday Night Music Club is yet another album that falls into the category of being just good. When i first heard the the name Sheryl Crow, I thought this was going to be a country album but while this does have some country elements, i wouldn't really say that this is a country album. This album has it's fun and catchy songs which i do find to be pretty good songs but it does have some boring ones too. I wasn't too miffed at this album though because the former easily overpowered the latter even if the latter's songs were longer. I do think that this is a decent album that i never really disliked at any point.
Best Song: What I Can Do For You
Worst Song: No One Said It Would Be Easy

I won’t stand for any shit-talking on my girl Sheryl. Her first three records are as solidly written, produced, and performed rock/singer-songwriter records you’ll find from any decade, let alone the 90’s. She fucks. This fucks.

Noooo my lengthy review got erased! I feel like a rube. Here were the main points:
-I like lady singers and the 90s, but Sheryl Crow is too country for my liking.
-A lot of these songs are about escape and running away, but I don't know if that's in reference to a particular life event in Crow canon (also when trying to find out via wiki, I learned that SC dated a co-musician (of the titular Tuesday Night Music Club) who died soon after this, in his 20s, and then later, Owen Wilson)
-One of the songs sounded like "Pinch Me" from the Barenaked Ladies, but I forget which one, but I liked it
-One of the songs had what I assumed was a deontic modal, but I forget which one, but I liked it
-One of the songs had an interesting syntactic construction, perhaps the 3rd to last song, but I didn't particularly like it
However, we shall not mourn what we have lost, we shall move ahead into the thrilling and will-aspirationally-remember-to-copypaste-my-reviews-into-my-notesapp-before-refreshing future!

Yet another album where I actively dislike the song I used to have in rotation because of the tracks I had to slog through to get to it. All I Wanna Do is a solid, jangle-y pop rock tune with a neat enough slide guitar riff to get by, but it cannot save the rest of this album and its horrendous pacing, instrumentation, and frankly, just plain lack of pleasure. Every song lags behind itself to ensure the album drags for as long as possible, and even when there is some glimmer of hope, it is immediately squashed so that Sheryl Crow can warble over some other snooze fest. Most of the album I was figuring it would scrape by doing nothing to truly anger me to the point of a one-star, but that final track would NOT END. There's a solid minute or two of her barely audibly singing the name of the song, and it is infuriating beyond belief, and completely ensured I never want to hear a song by Crow again, because if this is the best popular music had for singer-songwriters, I can't imagine what sums up the state of pop music any better in the early 90s.

Decent songs, but this is so boring :(

Many songs are repetitive and I felt bored at times.
A couple of the songs are ok however.
I will consider this a high 2/5

This is more interesting than I expected but I still wouldn’t say that I love it.
