Some great songs, but overall pretty mediocre by the lofty standards Metallica had set by this point. Favorite track: Wherever I May Roam

The first four songs are absolutely legendary, then the rest just kind of fades away into obscurity for me. But man, those first few songs are enough to carry any album. Favorite track: With or Without You

Solid indie rock offering. Nothing too spectacular but nothing bad either. Favorite track: Yeah We Know

Perfect music to just put on and chill out. Favorite track: Blue Rondo ala Turk

Probably the most inaccessible album ever. I will say I liked it better on the second listen. Favorite track: Moonlight on Vermont

The music was decent but I just couldn't stand Lloyd's vocals. Favorite track: Forest Fire

Love Scott's voice and the epic tone of the record. Favorite track: The Seventh Seal

Man could Amy bring it with her vocals. Just a one-of-a-kind soulful, powerful, amazing voice. Favorite track: F**k Me Pumps

Super weird, but I pretty much expected that with Frank Zappa involved. I don't know how much I would give this repeat listens but there's a few cool tunes in here. Favorite track: Absolutely Free

So different from what was to come. A psychedelic rock tour de force. Favorite track: Astronomy Domine

Some really catching and rewarding songs here, but a little too much derivative soft rock keeps it from being great. Favorite track: Dirty Work

I feel like I really should have more about this band considering when they arrived and their contemporaries. Good solid brit rock. Favorite track: Alright

Tom Waits in a live setting playing a jazzy spoken word set? Sign me the fuck up! Favorite track: Warm Beer and Cold Women

I'll admit that seeing an ABBA album pop up didn't fill me with joy. Imagine my surprise when this didn't turn out to be a bunch of corny wedding reception anthems. There are some A #1 grooves to be found in here. Favorite track: The Visitors

Pretty good, though inconsistent in my opinion considering who it's coming from. Contains one of the best diss tracks in history. Favorite track: Imagine

Not sure what I expected from a Beach Boy member but it wasn't this. Melodic and rocking in equal measure. Favorite track: River Song

I like to think I have pretty eclectic taste in music, but this was a little too eclectic for even me. Favorite track: Homelands

I could probably do without the grandiose orchestral tracks, but other than this two this is an excellent record. Favorite track: Heart of Gold

Perfect morning music. Calm and relaxing. Favorite track: Wild World

A fair to middling Hendrix album that is propped up by the last two songs, which just happen to be some of the best in music history. Favorite track: Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
