I guess they have to throw in something to keep the Americans happy, even if it’s clearly terrible!

Being aware of Without You I wasn’t sure if I’d like this album but actually it was really quite enjoyable.

Big up and down. A few tracks I really liked but equally a number I probably wouldn’t bother listening to again.

Never really got into E&TB much before but actually quite liked listening to this one. I think this project has awoken a hidden goth adjacent appreciation in me that I didn’t know was in there before. Going to go and buy myself some eyeliner now.

Not really a fan, just couldn’t really find anything that interesting in it.

A vast improvement on the previous KC offering we had

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a Morrisey solo album in full. Obviously we all know the man is an idiot but separating the man from the music I really liked this.

I’ve enjoyed ‘discovering’ Nick Drake through this project but I think I slightly prefer the other albums we’ve had so far.

Was this a reasonably enjoyable listen? Yes
Could I really tell the difference between most tracks? No
Does that matter? Not really
Will I ever listen to this album again? Probably not

Now I’m partial to a bit of shoegazing so enjoyed quite a lot of this. I’m sure my mum would have said ‘but it’s just a lot of noise’ and there are moments in this where I would agree. But overall I enjoyed this one.

Some of this was a good listen but too many fairly bland sounding tracks. That’s not to detract from the message but I would have preferred more songs with some oomph.
Rated 6/10
Quite enjoyed this one. Elements of PJ Harvey and Hole (though more musical and calmer than the latter). Probably went on a bit too long and felt liked it tailed off a bit.

I mean, is it Jeff’s album or Rod’s? Some good sounds though.

Like most people I was expecting this album to follow the tone of Schools Out so it was a surprise to find a varied sound throughout. Not unpleasant but of course everything is going to pale in comparison to the title track if it’s not strong enough a song on its own. Bit of a dip in the middle but finished strongly.

I’m sure most music has a place in this world but I’m not sure where this belongs. Certainly not in my world!
Surprised that I enjoyed this more than I was expecting to.

Fairly unexciting run of the mill stuff for this genre however did quite like The Treasure - Take One

I was initially intrigued and enjoyed the start but my attention wasn’t held all the way through. A few nice moments but equally as many that weren’t so good.
Rated 4/10
Dull. Not much more needs to be said.
