I had no idea how brilliant her guitar playing was, and found myself getting lost in that at points, that Joni Mitchell thing of being so accomplished your other things are overlooked. :) Great stuff, definitely will listen to more, wish I had sooner! The folksy thing wore a bit thin at points, but forgiveable and cool to hear nonetheless. :)

Right... I am going to make no bones about it, this was an awesome album musically and it's always neat hearing where other bands got their ideas. Lyrics were iffy, so 4?

I had no idea tango could sound like something other than the Sims music - this was properly atmospheric and fun! I'll always give a higher rating if an album includes a person going utterly bananas on a xylophone thingy.

Bloated? Probably!
Overly indulgent? Probably!
Do I love it despite it going against most things I dislike in my music? Absolutely! :)

It is a really well written, and fun album! And despite the hour+ of music, it never sounds like a lab project or lets up on energy. :)

Groovy fun album! Probably won't make an effort to listen repeated, but I feel bad giving it a 3 as it was fun, rounding up to a 4!

Right, so I liked this more than I thought I would. But it did lose me over the course of the 1 hour and the rest of noodling. I bet it was so cool if you were there, but I wasn't in their world for it. I give it 3 - I have no plans to revisit, but it is music I'd not object to if it was on.
